You guys, it's both impossible and illegal because Windows 10 was released in 2015 and Windows 1.0 was released 30 years before Windows 10.
I love running the windows 1.0 control panel in windows 10 and being able to use the color settings to fix the broken themes in win10 control panel

On the startup of Win 2, it says 'Incorrect DOS version', Win XP's DOS is probably too new to run 2, or it's because XP runs NT, and 2 runs DOS.

The issue with Windows 2.x printing garbage on the screen also affects 1.x too. You're right in mentioning the Incorrect DOS version error. The solution under DOS was to use SETVER to spoof version 3.40 on WIN100.BIN and WIN200.BIN.
