    I'm glad you mentioned the architectural committee. That's one reason my husband and I didn't buy there. Nightmare stories that could cost a lot more than we could gamble. Also glad the family is handling so that things aren't so difficult for folks.

    You mention 2000sf minimum house size but that's only in the Mystic Heights unit. All other houses must be 2500sf or more, and some units are minimum 3000sf. Some lots are even 4000sf minimum!
    We found a beautiful lot in unit 7 and were ready to make an offer but read the CC&R's - 3000+sf was way more house than we need! Our realtor told us the same thing about the HOA. Some of the roads in the back get pretty narrow and windy. It's a beautiful area, but do your due diligence.

    Hi Bill. We will be moving to the area at the end of the year from Portland, OR. We bought a house in Whispering Canyon last November and the house should be completed by January 2023. Have you done any videos of that community?

    Hi Bill, we are moving to Prescott at the end of the Summer. I work in Tech and my wife is a nurse, im also a 100% va compensated veteran. Were concerned none of those homes are worth the current prices. There is also a slim chance you can get what you want. Fed rates are high and rising. Prices are both high and rising. When do you think the market is going to tank?? Because CLEARLY the market is unbalanced.

      I think the market might flatten out, but I don't think it's going to crash in the Prescott area. As long as people can sell their homes in other parts of the country Prescott will continue to be a destination. People that are moving here are mainly retired and don't have to rely on obtaining a job. Even if the market corrects in other States, people still have enough equity that they will sell and move to the Arizona area. Other investments are struggling with inflation. People look to tangible assets they can hold and feel. Gold, silver and real estate tend to be safe havens when inflation starts. Real estate runs parallel with inflation and usually out performs inflation as you can see by the current prices in states that people want to relocate to. If interest rates rise that will take out a small segment of the market. Mainly young people or first time home buyers. Most people coming here have cash so this does not affect them. Of course this is just my opinion.
