OMG those cabins. Well, at least folks can move on from the criticisms of Riv. The cabins just do not measure up to DVC standards to me. No charm. For those points, I'd much rather stay at AKV or SSR or--gasp--OKW! But this is an accommodation that will have appeal to a certain type of Disney person, and I'm here for the diversity. LOL I mean... you know the people who criticize the Riveria will never stop criticizing the Riviera hahah (am I one of those people? I might be lol) I think the Cabins themselves, taken in isolation, work for DVC to me. I agree though that the surrounding resort does not offer the overall luxe level I'd expect, but I saw they filed some permits so it's possible they're building out a portion near the DVC cabins to have enhanced common space offerings. We shall see!
