Had the same issues, got a video up on it as well, it was every single magazine failure to go into battery, 115gr and 124gr there was one magazine of 124gr where I had 10 failures in 20rnds… I contacted Canik and they sent me a high-performance spring that they have, I shot a video on it yesterday put 250 rounds through the Canik TTI combat with the new performance spring. I’m glad to say I had zero failures. Hopefully this helps.? Because I was pretty bummed for a while that I spent $1000 on a paperweight that just failed constantly but with the new spring so far so good …
We did receive the spring as well from Canik. The issues were less common but still happened. We now have about 1500 rounds through the gun, and it did not fail once the the past range trip. We shot about 150 rounds through it that day of multiple different ammo, and it seems to be working fine now. We are assuming the new spring and a longer the usual break-in period may be paying off. We will do a follow-up video once we get another 800 rounds through it failure free. Thanks for the info and watching our video.
I had a very strange inconsistency with mine in the beginning. I think it does have a long break-in period. It might be between 500 to 1000 rounds. I saw a video Where they filed the right side of the rail. After that, they had no issues. I did feel a slight bur on the right side of my TTI Combat. I don't know if filing the rail made a difference or not. But it seems to be a lot better. On my 3rd range day, I had 1 malfunction after the first round. After that, l shot about 150 rounds without any issues.
After the spring change, the reliability improved, but it still remained until we hit about 1500 rounds. Now, the gun shoots perfectly with no failures. It seemed to have a very long break in period. We have put well over 1000 rounds through with no failures at this point. My brother loves this gun and carries it daily. Keep running it it should smooth out. It could possibly have been a manufacturing tolerance issue that wore in finally. This is not uncommon. It is unusual that it took this long to break it. But I am confident that this gun is reliable now for us.
