Just like the video, her dad did not think I was good enough for his daughter because I was skinny and had lots of acnes on my face ... Her father was a total useless bum ... He could not even afford to put a shelter over the family's heads, his daughter ( aka my ex-gf ) had to buy a townhouse so that they won't end up on the street after they got evicted from their rented apartment ... The daughter also had to buy him an used Toyota Corolla so that he could go to/from work ... She also paid for all of the household expenses. She was a doctor.
So when suddenly I wanted to date his daughter showing up in a brand new BMW 330i M-Sport sedan at that time. And having my own townhouse at that time. He told his daughter that it was all fake, and that I probably borrow the BMW from a friend or stole it ... and that the townhouse was probably rented ... The daughter knew I owned both the BMW and the townhouse ... I was working as a certified accountant at that time.
It has been 6 years ... I still love her for the rest of my days ... Of course, I recently got back onto the dating scene ... She has her own family now after her dad forced her to marry his best friend's son. But I have never really moved on inside my heart
this was one of the songs i remember from my childhood, me and my mom would listen to it on the cds while we were driving places and it’s just brings back so much happier memories from life when it was simple.
