For those wondering if this works in 4.0, I have it installed, and just did on Blender 4.3. To make it work, I copy the script and config folders from a previous version of blender that had the addon running, after doing this, I was able to use the addon in any version. I hope this helps.
so cool addon ... I'm using it from ver 2.8 till now, in ver 4.2. Only one question: have you ever experienced a missing submenu label name when checking the "Open on mouse over" option to expand the menu ? Maybe a bug for Blender 4 ?
Finally I understand it a bit :D Sorry my english is not good, but can I ask you, with simple button that I can "right click" then "add to pie menu", so I dont have to add the script like you did at 8:01, right? And at 6:13 "cant add this widget", can I add like script that you did with money? Thank you :)
8:01, Yes, "right click" then "add to pie menu". 6:13, Try, right click, "Copy Python Command", then go to "edit slot (pie menu), paste into "Command" tab.
@@MarcV_IndieGameDev Oh I see that you have the line "Copy Python Command" at 6:29, but it doesnt show it for me, do you use discord or something that we can send pictures?
@@MarcV_IndieGameDev I did exactly the same all your step and it work, but I have another problem, I create 2 pie menu: 1. in Edit mode I create pie menu name "Pie Menu" and choose value Edit mode 2. in Object mode I create another pie menu name "Main Menu" and I choose value Window/ Screen/ Object mode (problem) and the problem here is all of Edit mode and Object mode just take the same "Pie Menu". I can put all to just 1 pie menu but maybe it will be so much stuffs so do you know how to fix it?

When you buy it, you'll be given different versions to install, look for the latest version (1.87) Once downloaded (leave it as it is, don't unzip), open blender, edit > preferences > add-ons, top right you'll see an install button > click that and navigate to where you downloaded the file > select file and that should be it installed. (I will make a video this week showing how to install addons, so it maybe helpful for someone else in the future)
And hope you enjoy the addon, it will honestly make you faster in the long run. It'll take a little while to adapt and get a good flow, but the minimum movements you do vs remembering hotkeys is a game changer.

I'm still on 3.6, I'm having problems upgrading to 4+, I can't help you there.
This was more helpful than the original tutorials
Cheers, a little annoyed the speaking is very quiet. The quality and volume has increased over time.
@@MarcV_IndieGameDev btw, i saw that you have sculpt layers addon, will you do a video on that? Would love to watch it!
woa where have this been all this time
Thank you sooo much my friend!

Have you ever worked with someone as far as helping make them? I have an idea of what I want to do but can't figure out how to do it.
Fire away, what's the idea?
I can only but try help you figure out what the possible challenges are, and go from there.
Does it work on Blender 4.0 and newer?
I've not tested. But I'll say most likely yes.
@@MarcV_IndieGameDev would you mind testing it for me if it's not too much trouble? The latest version the addon page lists as compatible is 3.6

Does this work with blender 4.0?
I've not updated to 4.0, so I'm unable to say. My guess it will.

Did you get any use out of it?
The name "Pie Menu Editor" doesn't do the addon justice. "Customize the crap out of Blender" would be more accurate. :)
It's such a core element I wouldn't want to use blender without it. To do a series of things in 1 swiping action is the way it should be.
Yea this add on is broken. In the best way. So so good.
