Han jisung, a lyrical genius. It amazes me how much emotions his voice holds. NOBODY does it like him. Especially these points that are always there in his songs. Like adding effects to the most hurtful lyrics. In his song run he added effect on the line "run from my room, run from my town, run from my city, run from the world" and in the song "miserable" he added effects in the line "need somebody" and now in this song "everybody dancing on the stage, not me " and the lines are always the saddest lyrics of his song AND they are always disguised as this happy thing with instrumentals with catchy tunes. Also, almost everyone agrees that every time you listen to his songs you can literally feel the emotions in your vein. I remember reading the comments in his song miserable and people were like "I am crying and I am not even in a relationship" and every time I read these kind of comments, it makes me wonder how much pain one has to be in or to feel to deliver these emotions that even the one listening can feel it as if it's their own. You can always feel his emotions whether it's a happy song or a sad song and the emotions are always intense. Edit: I just noticed, you know how in movies when the character is going through a hard time everything around them becomes blurry and is moving in slow motion. I just noticed when he is singing "everybody dancing on the... " not only there's effect but also the music slows down and almost stops and begins again as if he was zoning out and then snaps back to reality. I was looking for someone else mentioning the lyrics. I have a gut feeling that this is how he's been feeling lately since you can see how his eyes and smile have been a bit sad lately. I just hope everyone could just tell him that if he needs a break he can just take it. Just commenting here again because I come back to this song on a daily basis. The song makes my heart aches, I can see myself thinking the exact same things, lost in the sea of million people. Surrounded by friends but so alone. The piano at the end sounds so much like Han’s own solo stage where he’s in the spotlight, performing for himself, being real with his negative feelings. Just commenting here again because I come back to this song on a daily basis. The song makes my heart aches, I can see myself thinking the exact same things, lost in the sea of million people. Surrounded by friends but so alone.
The piano at the end sounds so much like Han’s own solo stage where he’s in the spotlight, performing for himself, being real with his negative feelings.
