I am in 12th grade right now. I want to either go into engineering (particularly electronics) or design (product design). I like to do something hands on, I am planning to take a drop after 12th to either prepare for anyone (engineering exams or design exam). The problem I see is that in engineering there are less core (including electronics) companies offering jobs in India and after seeing this video I think there are less companies offering jobs in product design as well. Basically whatever I want to pursue is not there in India.

Nobody sits idle and you do get a job easily nothing comes free though

@@kuldeep35555 Yes sir, I agree that everyone gets a job but they might not get the job in their desired field like in engineering most jobs are IT jobs and like you said in Design most jobs are Ui Ux.

How much stipend is offered to M Des Textile Design during internship for NID Ahmedabad students?

Students who get admission in NID, IIT UX Design gets a very high package as a fresher compared to any other colleges or course in India that's why they come to NID, IIT. It's not a waste of money

Firstly hello to everyone for reading this.. I'm interested in film and video communication programme from NID because I do film-making but you're saying there are less jobs in this category. Can somebody help me solving this issue

dont chase jobs if want to have full control over your life. do stuff that really interests you, do risky stuff, when you do something unique money will come anyway.

Sir, should I go for bachelor of Design in USA if i don't have fund issues ?

@@kuldeep35555 Sure sir, actually I attempted nid and uceed both this year and was left behind with only 11 marks and 14 marks to clear the cutoff respectively, now preparing to attempt again but kind of inclined towards going USA for a wider prospect of settlement there as I have a lot of family settled in California. Thank you for the advice sir.

    Hi Kuldeep.
I really appreciate your raw approach to giving us the real picture in this unsanitary raw manner, unlike most TH-camrs.
I love how you spoke about how the entire design industry is leading towards UI/UX and it really made me think deeply on this issue.
What I'd like to ask is that doesn't NID or IDC have their own interaction design courses? Aren't they specific to UI/UX?
I personally want to try for CEED and aim for IDC for two main reasons:
    1. Getting the experience, network, and once in a lifetime opportunity to attend college, pursuing what I loved since I was a child, ei, the mix of design, internet, and phones.
    2. The formal training and literacy in UI/UX.
Do you think I should even give NID/IIT a shot or should I look to private colleges, or just hustle my way to a UI/UX or product design job?
    I'm currently a marketing designer.
    Thanks for reading.
