    Very amazing! When you say you prime your clay pieces, do you use a colored gesso or do you paint straight on the clay with acrylics?

    Love this channel and was just wondering how you know how long to do the belly piece ?
    Because I really want to make my own 😀😀

    • @bubblyleafcreations
      @bubblyleafcreations  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you :)
      pretty much I would just take the pattern that I drew out for the body sides and cut the legs off of it. I then measure the bottom of the pattern til I'm a couple inches past the back legs. I normally don't go all the way done the tail just a little. Then I just draw something out with that measurement and make it as wide as I want. To be safe you can make it longer and just cut it shorter if you feel you have too much fabric.
      :) hope this helps

    To bubbly leaf careful while sewing don’t poke yourself because it hurts a lot ouch. Once I stepped on a sewing needle and my mom pulled it out it still had thread in it it hurt a lot . So be careful while sewing have fun and be safe doing your projects.

    How much does the sculptey you use cost?

    • @bubblyleafcreations
      @bubblyleafcreations  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      normally a 2lb box cost $14, but I always try to get it on sale or use 40% coupons from my art store I buy from.

    Hi bubbly! I need help plz witch is easyer to do wings or no wings plz and thank you -mellow P.S. keep up the good work!

    • @bubblyleafcreations
      @bubblyleafcreations  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!
      what are you wanting to make? Normally it is easier to not make wings cause then you can just sew up the back of the creature and not mess with the wires and different fabric pieces needed. But it"s not too much harder if you want to challenge yourself lol.

    Hi, I really love your work! I was thinking about making a doll similar to this & I wanted to know how durable the wire frame is and if it eventually breaks over time. Thank you so much!

    • @ivaivanchica
      @ivaivanchica 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok ik how it works you put two wires and lightly twist and it depends on type of wire you use and alwaya bend the wire few times to check if it breaks
