- September 27, 2022 - Asia Society Policy Institute hosts a discussion between Asia Society President and CEO Kevin Rudd and Jonathan Pershing, program director of environment at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, as they address current and future prospects for U.S. and international climate cooperation with China. Following this, an expert panel explores the progress and challenges of China’s climate action across a number of relevant areas, including China’s domestic policies, overseas investments, and climate diplomacy. Participants include Li Shuo, senior global policy adviser at Greenpeace China; Shuang Liu, senior associate at the World Resources Institute’s Sustainable Finance Center; and Cory Combs, associate director at Trivium China.
