I started as an HVAC journeyman not too long ago. During the beginning as an Installer/sheet metal, I would get shit on and 100% my foremen talked shit behind my back until I shadowed under this HVAC service tech. Cool dude and kept his cool while out a service call and everyone likes him! I remember fucking up on brazing some linesets at an install and like the guys in the video, he said its a learning experience and has been that road before. He just gave me a pat on the back and told me I’ll get there like him. I train green guys at new HVAC construction and don’t let my anger or give them shit like my previous foremen did. I explain everything in detail and if they got it wrong, I’ll tell them its okay and can show them how to hang or put together ductwork and suggest to do it this way or their own way without being a dick about it. I’m days away from becoming a foreman for this new job and promise myself to treat my crew right. 🖤

I am a superintendent for a construction company, and I always tell my new helpers this. There are two kinds of people in the world, those that screw up, and those that don't try. If any of my guys get on you for screwing up something you are trying to learn, just let me know. Everybody has to learn it the irst time, and screwing up the thousandth time you do it is still a learning experience.
Kinda unrelated but I had a minor dental operation. My dentist lit a torch and started heating an equipment. I was in dread watching him gonna shove hot metal in my mouth. That torch in the beginning reminded me. 😂😂

The more good you do, the more people you’ll create who will do good back, you do good for long enough and that shit will come back to you even if you might not always realize it. That guy (the boss NOT the CEO) was actually very abusive to my father and treated my dad like shit.
