Honestly its pretty impressive she caught the fact that Valak being displayed is reoccuring throughout the film. I had no idea, until I watched like in-depth stuff about the Conjuring series.
I figured it out when the picture came alive. Then I had to pause and change my shorts.

I've watched this movie like 10 timest and I NEVER noticed a single one of those occurences. Granted, I never notice anything visual, unless it's right in my face in neon colours... I could've had a 2 hour face-to-face conversation with someone but if I was then turned around and asked what the person I talked to for 2 hours was wearing, I could say whether there was a dress/skirt or pants involved, but that's probably it. xP
oh yea, i watched a video that showed all of the references. and i think 99 percent of people wouldn't catch it. especially someone who spends most of the movie covering their face. that's extremely impressive. i think that's a gift you were born with. im actually getting ready to start researching the Delphi murders. and i think you should look at the video and tell me anything you notice in it. its a real case and it's unsolved. and extremely sad. i really think you could help.

Watched this a few times and never noticed the letters around the house so very well spotted Mrs. Movies. Even more impressive knowing she spent half the movie hiding behind her hands or looking at the small side screen

I generally don't jump at scary movies, but the "MY HOUSE!" bit when changing the channels got me when I first watched it.
Had to laugh when the nun grabbed Lorraine and then Mrs Movies slapped Mr Movies on the hand as if he was the one who scared her! lol

The Enfield Horror is one of the most famous Paranormal cases in the UK.
As someone who lives in the UK, I'd like to go visit that house.

We will be watching the Annabelle movies someday. Just didn't have it on our schedule for now. Wasn't sure if she'd be willing. Now she is after seeing y'all wanting it.
Heads up. Annabelle and the curse of la llorona are also part of this conjuring universe. They're all connected.

@@Lego_clone_trooper I saw it once back when it came out, so I'm remembering only a little but I try to summarize it. Also there might be SPOILERS here and there.
I remember that the movie was full of horror clichés, bad character decisions and things I call demon/ghost-inconsistencies. They show us time and time again that the demon can do basically anything, but suddenly when the plot requires the demon forgets that it can teleport anywhere or kill anyone in an instant.
I also remember a French guy who was really annoying and at some point he brought a shotgun and other weapons and basically had an action scene.
And the thing the do in almost every horror movie nowadays unfortunately, the forced jumpscares/"scary" scenes. One of the writers says "I have a scary idea!" and they shove it into the move. It usually doesn't add anything to the movie, doesn't move the plot, it doesn't even connected well into the story. The only purpose of the scene to try to scare you. This is not good screenwriting.
This is about all I can remember now and the feeling when I left the theatre, that this was bad. This is of course only my opinion. :)

I hate when children make noises and wake me up at night. Then I realise I don't have any kids.
The boy with the white eyes in the beginning. Is taken from a real picture, taken in the Amityville house after the murders happened.
You guys have got to watch the Exorcist because without that film non of these films could have been made.
Even tho the exorcist never really was scary to me, good but not really scary

I honestly never found Exorcist scary. I watched it with lots of expectations but didn't really feel the vibe though the cast was amazing.

If ya really want to be creeped out , you can watch and or listen to the interviews the media and psychologist and warrens filmed and recorded ,..it’s actually terrifying! It’s the original films and tape from the 1960’s and man when she gets possessed she is scary as hell!!! She speaks perfectly backwards in several videos to where when rewound it’s perfectly clear. The police reports frim the officers thst saw the table and chairs Ry accross the room are up there too. Terrifying

I remember reading about it in the newspaper years ago as a kid when the story resurfaced and the newspapers covered it again.
The Warrens didn't film anything. They had nothing to do with this investigation. They showed up for two hours to get their names in the newspaper while Ed kept trying to rope people into a scam. The person who actually ran this investigation (largely because the little girl reminded him of his own recently deceased daughter) was the one this movie painted as the bad guy. The Warrens were a couple of scum-bag self-aggrandizing frauds and the writer of these movies deserves a swift ass-kicking for glorifying them as much as he does.
I saw their presentation at Uconn. Lots of recordings and photos like they're collecting in the movies
Did you know the word "Demon" comes from "The Moon" etymologically. Like: Monday = 'Moon Day'. Monsters = 'Moon-sters' Most words with a "Mon" have a connection to "Moon". ;)
14:16 sorry ma'am. When I was a 10 yo boy my older sister used to scare the shit out of me faking stabs and demon's noises till I was hanging on the windows calling for help and for mom. Today I'm 36 old man that watch this movies like children watching cartoons and to be honest is REALLY REALLY FUNNY to see people actually getting scared.

Jump scares in movies are kinda crap. I guess they use them when they don't really know how to invoke fear in a scene. Notice how 99% of jump scares are accompanied by a loud noise? It's not really scary, it's just the sudden sound and visual that startles you, nothing more, and it's a cheap thrill, one that you'll forget 5-minutes after it happens.
THAT'S the reason I can't stand movies that rely on them.

"Its so small and light" line cracks me up and then I realize I remember being filmed on those back in the 80's growing up. Now we carry that and so much more in just a simple little phone in our pockets, crazy how far we've come technolgy wise. Love these movies, and love your reactions to them.

The real Ed Warren survived multiple heart attacks. He wasn't the healthiest eater. He was 79 when he died.

This movie made people paranoid about nuns the same way the film Jaws made people nervous about sharks... unless you went to Catholic School and were already familiar with the penguins with the rulers. Then you wondered which nun you knew back then reminded you of this particular nun.

I noticed the letters on the bookshelf first time around, but didn't see the alak in the kitchen until second time round. To the left of the alak in the kitchen there is a plaque that says "loVe" giving us the V for the name. Another great video guys! Well done.

Well the one who is acted in The Nun was not her daughter but her younger sister Taisa Fermiga.Everyone thought she looked the same like Vera so she must be her daughter.

I love being scared this way lol. I wait until its dark and I'm home alone, and then I watch it. And later when I have to walk my dogs every rustle is a ghost and every other dog walker is definitely a serial killer.

This one is definitely the scariest out of the first two.
I'd just like to say that UK houses of that age don't have cellars like that. In fact, they mostly don't have cellars at all. |n fact I suspect there's only one Hollywood horror cellar, which is rearranged slightly for every movie.

this one is still my favorite in the conjuring universe. I loove the haunted family this time around more than most families in other movies
I only like the ones directed by James Wan. You should check out "Insidious" also directed by Wan and stars Patrick Wilson.

And you can feel the originality lost in 3rd Conjuring movie like in Conjuring 1 & 2, but its still good👍

The real pic of the child with the shine eyes was actually one of the crew setting up equipment. The owner of the Amityville house punched Ed Warren in the face and kicked them out of his house. Take care. Stay safe.

“Annabelle : Creation “ is the 2nd Annabelle movie and it’s the only 100% rotten tomatoes horror movie . It’s actually really really good.
I really enjoyed that this felt like a blockbuster. it doesnt feel like a cheap cash grab, it had a bigger budget vibe that really adds to the experience.
The first Conjuring scared me more than 2. Those damn clapping hands!!!
One of the Annabelles is basically a Conjuring that takes place in the Warrens house, I don't remember which of the three though.

The Warrens aren't really that involved in the Enfield case in reality, they turned up for a couple of days as it wound down. The only reason they feature in this so heavily is the studio hadn't got the rights to any of their other cases. The actual case is very interesting, admittedly fake, but a very creepy fake all the same.
I'd recommend When the Lights Went Out for another UK haunting in the same vein, itself a very creepy story too.

I did not see the letters at all... But I did see the wife's stare at the camera. Lmao. I could tell exactly what she was telling us without even saying it! 😂 But she was quite brave to do this again with these films. So she's a trooper in my book! Great review as always guys.
Based on a True Story?
Quite a few scenes in this movie, are very reminiscent of the 1992 BBC 'Ghostwatch' documentary, about a 'possessed' family/house in the sleepy suburbs of England. That'd be worth a watch, guys. There were two girls (aged similarly to those here) in the family, and they were being pestered by a poltergeist that they dubbed 'Mr Pipes'.
That was an enthralling watch, as the BBC team investigated the paranormal happenings, with such a bizarre twist, that it caused a national furore. There were fairly concerted calls for the BBC to be totally disbanded afterwards, and threats of litigation over heart attacks and distress.
Definitely a valuable source for THIS movie though.
Ed and Lorraine Warren had a priest come in and bless the room and all the objects in it every month at least, from what I read.

Excellent movie reaction, as a suggestion I would recommend Annebelle comes Home. Not part of the Conjuring but includes same actors as Ed and Lorraine and see's storytelling through Judy their Daughter's side.
I agree that they should watch Annabelle Comes Home. It's not as scary but still very enjoyable!
32:30 kind of freaked me out. I was wondering whose hand that was, because I didn’t realize that the close up shot was flipped. I didn’t know that was his hand. So when I saw a hand on what I thought was her opposite shoulder of where her husband was sitting, I almost head a heart attack. Scarier than anything in the movie they were reacting to.
Ohh, watch the Annabelle movies amd The Nun! You get the full backstory of Annabelle in her films, and Valak in The Nun. Everybody went crazy over Valak, because she's such a good villain. So, begged for a movie to be made about her. Lol.

I slept early n for some reason woke up early too. Checked my phone to see the time(its 2 am) n i saw this upload😁 Ok the jumpscares in the 1st movie was terrifying n "we broke her.." n the jumpscares in the 2nd one(this) were much more "brutal" especially when Bill appeared out of nowhere n shouted "MY HOUSE!" BUT "we didnt broke her".(dont worry bout covering ur eyes n not looking coz that's a normal reaction when watching horror movies) 9:50 n the fact that mdm saw the alphabets/spelling n managed to figure the demon nun's name was AMAZING! Even aft watching a couple of times on my own, i didnt even see that until this reaction. I've watched The Conjuring 3 n trust me u WILL not be broken n u WILL survive that movie EASILY😊 as ALWAYS, THNK U for this upload Sir n Mdm!🙏
