Its not that complex, it's all about "mastering the fundamentals" 1) fewest number of layers as possible 2) fewest number of brushes as possible 3) good grasp of color/lighting 4) lot of time and back pain
what i took the most out of this is that i should stop worrying about how it's looking while i make it and start focusing on how it will look when it's finished, your process of going from big shapes and colors to small details is amazing

I dedicate a lot of time to write stories, countless hours on research and writing fantasy worlds, characters and their stories, but i always feel that words cannot truly communicate what i have in my head. The art process goes crazy! Each piece felt like something I've seen before, like it gave off this feeling of nostalgia, but at the same time it felt like I hadn't seen it before at the same time
