Just picked a JDXI up and I am loving it except the small keys, but im using it as a loop based tool anyway with pre programmed loops. So to use the fave buttons like a launchpad is perfect. thanks for showing this :)
Very good explanations for this great synth! I won't get it for two days! But it is very useful to see how it works in detail! A big thumb for that 👍 I'm sure I'll have a few more questions and I'll be happy to come back! Until then, have a great time and thank you! 😃
If you make a program into a favourite, if you then copy the same favourite into a second favourites bank and edit it and save, will it edit both favourites or will they be independent.

Hi, thank you for that video. Did you ever try to control the JD Xi with a midi footswitch or something like that? I tried the morningstar mc6 pro last week, but the JD Xi did not work properly. Sometimes it started, sometime not.... That's not helpful when you try playing guitar simultaneously... ;-)
Dude, i can´t understand most you have to say and what you explain, because while you talk you play your music so loud, that i cannot hear you. Did you not notice that one can understand only half of what you say ? It is soo loud man.
Yeah I mostly suck at this. If it helps at all I'm not really saying anything that important while the music is playing. But I'll definitely keep the levels in mind for the next video.
@@homayoontv Glad you found it useful. I totally agree on the 2 minute thing. I recently looked through my analytics and 2 minutes is the average view duration for any of the tutorial videos I've made. It's funny because when I think about it 2 minutes is roughly what I watch when looking up other tutorials.
@@ghoststalkermusic true, it also depends on your content, but this one was more like point and shoot so less is more, I have also a baby youtube channel so I am in the same boat☺️
thank you for all the JDXi videos!
Appreciate that homie! Thanks, glad you dig em.
This is actually very very very helpful! Cooooooool amazing video!

This sounds great. So catchy!
Thanks homie
Very good explanation!
Groovy.
Greet drum groove. Always thinking of buying Roland jdxi or a mc101😊
Thank you for this! Ive been trying to find a synth that can do drums and this for a while..
Can you still play some keys over the top of a sequence?
❤

Nice! I make music on the jdxi on my channel. This really helped me out. I just subscribed
Hey Ghoststalker, do you know if it's possible to shorten the length of a pattern to say 7 steps instead of 16?
I believe you can do 4 steps, 8 steps, 16 steps and 32 steps. But not odd meters like 7.
Thanks for the quick reply!
@@reardondearborn happy to help :)
On the other hand, sitting by your synth and hitting a few buttons for like four minutes of recording a song isn't that ardous!

@@ghoststalkermusic Thank you for the vid, also the length can be like 2 min!
