Have you tried and tested the McGill big 3 for lumbar stabilization with your patients? This is the one thing that has increased my athleticism and reduced any back symptoms for myself.

Great stuff, Paul! Would you be willing to do a video going into more depth on proper body mechanics and ergonomics with day to day activities or work tasks? I work with worker’s compensation patients primarily, so that would be really useful information! We see lots of teachers, nurses, custodians, and police officers.

Hi Alex,I happen to be doing an interview soon with an ergonomic and work place injury specialist soon. Great idea on the body mechanics video. I'll work on that. Here's my podcast show link if you are interested. Sign in on the top of the page and you will get the podcasts as they come out. orthoevalpal.com/Best regards, Paul

Do you mind providing an explanation to why exercise is actually good for the IVD and nucleus?

At a young age the capillaries don't provide good vascularity to the disc so movement helps to hydrate the disc like a sponge with water in it. When you push it down the water comes out and when you let it go, the water is re-absorbed.

It's possible, but there are multiple reasons why people can have pain with running.
