I'm surprised and shocked, but pleasantly.
I've been checking in every so often to see if there was ANY indication of more mugler fragrances coming out... or re-releases.
I'm sad to hear l'oreal took over.
All they need to do is re release Pure malt, Pure Zest, and Pure Havane or kryptomint and they'll be coasting on easy money.
Can imagine how badly they'd ruin those flankers lol

@@LoftOfTheUniverse lol absolutely not. They won't have access to the same materials through a combination of regulations and suppliers. they'd try to increase profit on it to so it'd be cheaper stuff they replaced it with.

@@LoftOfTheUniverse because they have different suppliers that they have deals with and no commitment to the fragrance because they didn't conceive it. Smell the latest version and get back to me, it's wafer thin

Unbelievable but believable price, as others have said no doubt I can’t believe just a few years ago i was paying just 40 kwid for my havane, tonka, malt, taste of fragrance etc..

…well, that was a bit of a letdown…and anything/nothing? to distinguish it from the Quentin Bisch vanilla etc that we already have ? an A*Men-lite for those who didn’t try the og, perhaps…my complaint with Ultimate is the name and that they felt compelled to do the coffee note to death…i do prefer Mercedes-Benz Club [Extreme]…
This ain't great and there's no coffee or mint or lavender or caramel. Should've just put it in a different bottle and called it something else

@@mttqll8623 it doesn't resemble amen, there's lack of caramel, coffee, lavender, vanilla and mint. Even the Patchouli is numb. It's just a pleasant, boring vanilla with chocolate powder that gradually fades to an amberwood. Very upsetting to see one of my favourite perfume houses go out like this
What a let down 😢, wasn't much of a fragrance enthusiast when Mugler was at their peak, but gosh where are the days where you could buy a quality quality perfume for £48. I understand why you couldn't sell the Pure line when you did that rotation a while back.

Let’s put this price hike into perspective. I remember paying £40 retail for my now vintage Pure Malt & Pure Havane. These big corporates literally are taking the piss!

On tenterhooks....and then.....partial sigh of relief because you don't get a woody amber out of the gate. If anything, it sounds like they've dosed it well. But from the ratings on Parfumo, I'm not hopeful. L'Oreal does water down their releases and a straight chocolate flavouring sounds boring AF. That's the rest of the sigh. 😔

@@RichMitch Why couldn't they have just added some cherry and macchiato, put it in a velvety red bottle and called it Pure Maraschino or Supernova? Then again, I see that Nikos beat them to it with Sculpture Reverie. 😆 Undoubtedly a woody amber that one. Maybe a plum one next in a purple bottle...
