I've been researching CB wedges for a couple weeks now and had settled on the Cleveland CBX FF2 or these new Callaway CBs. Last night I watched this video and seeing how well Joey adapted to them sold me on the Callaways. So, this morning I went and got a 52 and a 56 and hit the links in this lovely 110* north Texas heat. Can confirm, these things are spin monsters! Everything said in this video was correct....you won't his every shot great(had one or two thins and chunks), but you'll hit fewer bad shots. Ball flight was great. They'd fly high and come down so steep that they'd hit the green and stick or they would have very little roll out. I've hit wedges decent enough in the past but never what anyone would call "good". Well, that seems to have changed....hopefully.
It was so heartwarming to see Joe’s reaction to getting the new wedges and the lesson. All he needed was a little guidance and his boys hyping him up. Keep up the good work gentlemen #coldcutscrispchips

So much to talk about here. Obviously, Cutsy’s wedge rebirth was amazing. The kid hit some amazing shots. Even his “bad” shots were good. Out of the entire video, he had one….count ‘em ONE….crappy shot. James stepped in immediately and told Joey to cool it with the practice swings and Joey was right back on target. Amazing coaching from James and his positive energy and pep-talks were exactly what Joey needed. No teaching. No new swing thoughts. No swing changes. Just that “be the ball” mentality plus some great forgiving wedges from Callaway that matched Joey’s swing better…… and Joey goes from a petrified little boy with overwhelming butterflies before a speech to the whole class to a totally transformed world class motivational speaker. Of course, Bob and FP provided great support and some laughs along the way. I only have one question…..How many times did FP purposely hit a shot a little bit off target for the simple joy of giving Joey more opportunities to practice his wedges? I’m looking forward to the next BDS video to see how Joey is doing with his new clubs. Get to the practice area Joey. You’re not allowed to slip back into old habits.

So much to talk about here. Obviously, Cutsy’s wedge rebirth was amazing. The kid hit some amazing shots. Even his “bad” shots were good. Out of the entire video, he had one….count ‘em ONE….crappy shot. James stepped in immediately and told Joey to cool it with the practice swings and Joey was right back on target. Amazing coaching from James and his positive energy and pep-talks were exactly what Joey needed. No teaching. No new swing thoughts. No swing changes. Just that “be the ball” mentality plus some great forgiving wedges from Callaway that matched Joey’s swing better…… and Joey goes from a petrified little boy with overwhelming butterflies before a speech to the whole class to a totally transformed world class motivational speaker.
Of course, Bob and FP provided great support and some laughs along the way. I only have one question…..How many times did FP purposely hit a shot a little bit off target for the simple joy of giving Joey more opportunities to practice his wedges? I’m looking forward to the next BDS video to see how Joey is doing with his new clubs. Get to the practice area Joey. You’re not allowed to slip back into old habits.
