Area 51 - Tomb Raider 3 Remastered (Level 7)

The Tomb Raider I-III Remastered games are finally here! These games are a faithful adaptation of the original trilogy, and their expansion packs.
I'm playing through these without commentary, showing you as much as I can remember and find. I will get all the secrets and I will aim to get all the pick-ups, but there may be a small number that I miss.

The TR3 demo on the PS1 was my first TR experience ever. So this's the most nostalgic part of the remaster for me. I'm glad XProger's team has been super faithful to the originals.
You know, it would be cool if Aspyr releases demos of the remaster based on the original demos. I'd play em in heartbeat even tho I already have the full game.

My favorite level in 3. The atmosphere and design brings back lots of memories. I played the demo of this level repeatedly and then played it in the full game. It's interesting to note the changes from the original demo to the final version. Overall, I'd like to play the remaster specifically for this level. Thanks for the showcase!

it's also my favourite level, back then in the late 90s there was a huge UFO/alien trend thanks to X-Files, Independence Day etc., so when this level came up i was all hyped to see some aliens. I love the atmosphere but like the level before i think the coloured light in the original looks a bit better

man i missed the MP5 on the armory at the beginning, for some reason the armory doorwas locked and now im at the end of the level. there's any way of going back to get the mp5?

Unfortunately there isn't, but if you're doing the Pacific Islands next, you'll be able to get it in Crash Site.

You have to kill the guard before he flips the switch and locks the door. Once it's shut there's no way of opening it.

How do you do the forward role in tight spaces?

Lara needs to be in the crouched position. You can draw your weapon and then holster it to get her like this. Then you press sprint for the roll.

Can someone advise me on what I am doing wrong? When I start the level there are lasers blocking my way to the first room with pick up items and more later on as I approach the second guard…I do not see that on your video.

It'll be because you need to kill the guard before they get to the button that activated the lasers. It is just about possible with the pistols.
