Mick did do something for the game. He gave them the sound they were looking for. Now it’s a lot easier to design a doom track since they like the current industrial metal sound. Which I am fully in love with
@@tty117 I also really appreciate how Mick Gordon incorporated elements from olf Doom tracks into Eternal's. Im baffled as to how FF7 remake won best soundtrack.

But just because it is somebody else, you say it sucks. Yes, everyone has opinions and I respect if you don't like this OST, but I've seen people only and ONLY dislike it because it isn't Mick.

Gonna be honest, after TAG2, I'd say David Levy's tracks are better than Andrew's. Don't get me wrong, both of them are really good, but I've liked more what David has done.
Thanks dude. I like Koma's mixes a lot because he tries to capture the full dynamic range of the track and put some effort into arranging it. My way with mixing gamerips is just to try and make it intense as possible, with minimal transitions or ambient sections. So I'll have the intense stuff all at the beginning, and maybe some lighter stuff toward the middle, and maybe a repeating motif at the end. Also, I put emphasis on making the transitions from segment to segment sound good. I put these mixes together in Ableton Live, which has BPM-detection abilities, so I can snap all the transitions to a grid and make them sound natural. I actually have several other personal mixes of Doom Eternal songs (like the doom hunter base theme, Metal Hell, Super Gore Nest, and others).
