Just wanted to give a shout out to Mike for his objective reviews. I have bought a number of his recommended bags, I think he does a great objective review of bags. Not a trend or popularity bag. Great work Mike!
I can create a custom image in Adobe and use that licensed image to make a custom bag w several companies for a cheaper price than BG w faster shipping. BG is upset that the Guardian bags are selling like crazy and how many pros they signed up. It's sounding like BG is part of the Brat Pack.
I bet BG/ Aplcornhole have rights to the ACL shop. I don’t think they could have anything to do with bag sales, and stamp approvals. I mean the ACL should be ran better than that I would hope. So many advantages
I'm surprised that this isn't already a standard on the professional side of cornhole. But if the bags are made within ACL specs, how they break down should not be a reason to penalize the players who are actually putting the bags to work. Imagine being penalized for using your "go to" bags because they didn't pass a thickness check.
@@lwmhawj348 if they check bags before hand then I believe the bags that had the green light shouldn't be penalize. In bowling, bowling balls get lane shine due to the lanes and how many games the pro's play.
The problem is not having enough people to check all of the bags before an event. A lot of players use a backpack or Zuca and carry 8-10 sets. That's 32-40 bags per player. That's a lot to check. Plus, most of the players pre-register for the events and there is no main check in point. The check in process would have to change in order for the bags to be checked.
95% of yall complaining dont even play acl or aco... Yall play backyard and locals tournament only. Idk why yall complain so much. On top of all that... Ppl arguing about bags, likeeee are yall serious? 95% of the time it's bag rep or bag sponsor are the one going back and forth. Acting like yall bags is better than the others... LMAO let me tell yall... Theres no difference in bags... If you a good thrower, you are a good thrower regardless what bag companies you throw. Imagine Michael Jordan was only good with a Wilson ball and trash with a Spalding ball. LMAO
There is so much wrong information in your comment. There is a huge difference in bags. Different speeds, different fill types, different fullness, different template size - It all impacts how the bag plays. One of the best players in the world, Ryan Traiteur has not been throwing his sponsor bag in the past two opens because he feels more comfortable throwing the BG bags. If bags were all the same then he would have chosen to throw his sponsored bags. Give Michael Jordan a medicine ball and see if can shoot it as well as a basketball. Or give him one of those red bouncy balls. Or give him a beach ball. There is a difference when you change the size, weight and materials of the ball. I'm assuming that since you don't think the bags matter, you must still throw the cheap duck cloth and suede bags from Walmart. Why would you buy anything else?
We are trying to get an ACO regional here in my town next month. So far there isn't much interest. Hopefully more will sign up. My town is about an hour and a half away from Medford Oregon.
Hey Mike, I absolutely love your channel, great info. I play in a league that has a room with a very low ceiling and fast boards. I currently use 21/22 BG Wizard bags and love them. Is there a bag you could suggest that would play a little slower but can be hole friendly? Thanks
When you go slower, you typically give up hole friendliness. The best options I can give you are the Templar Cornhole X'D Out and True Cornhole Bird of Prey. Both will play a little quicker new but once they break in, they play like a 4-4.5 speed. They are both hole friendly for a sub 5 speed bag.
I don't know if there's a way you can say or call, ACL or ACO differently because when you say it, they sound the same and it throws me off a bit on which league your talking about. Could just be my hearing but they sound very similar when you say ACL and ACO lol.
Hey Mike love your content I have bought several sets of bags from your reviews and I have to say they have been spot on from what you say. My ? Is do you know why Buffalo Bags left the ACL? Thanks. Keep up the great work.
I don't know for certain but I think it has something to do with them wanting the freedom to create whatever bags they wanted. Everything has to be approved with the ACL and I think they wanted to get away from that.
Your theory about BG gaining an advantage over the other bag companies through the ACL is definitely eye opening. I wouldn't be surprised if you're spot on and BG is trying to monopolize the bag making side of cornhole.
I think BG probably did a joint partnership with Allcornhole because BG makes boards and Allcornhole needs to sell bags and apparel. ALLCH needs BG to help them grow and sell products.
Great Content as usual. Definitely mind blowing facts and conspiracy theories but they kinda add up when you dive into the facts. 😮😅. Funny I just msg you about BG and BH bags. Keep up the great work and contents for us.
BG just makes the same bags over and over. Hey, would anyone like one of our 5 “different” herringbone bags? 🙄 Their owner is obviously a mean girl with zero creativity. That stupid shirt was cringe from the moment I saw it last season. I have never liked a BG bag and probably never will. I’m sure they effed up Guardian X they copied. Ya know, every other bag company is copying/following BG from the front. 😂 Gawd, Mike has me keyed up now
😂 If I can get my hands on a set, I'll be happy to review them. They are probably great bags. I love the Guardian X and I don't think the Kingslayer is that different.
I don't believe it is. The ACO has been around a lot longer than the ACL. The ACO is in a lot more of the US than the ACL. I don't have access to the membership numbers of each league but I would not be surprised if the ACO had more total players than the ACL.
@@aricmik27 I don't know about every state but on a nationwide level, the two leagues are similar. I still think the ACO has more players overall just because it's cheaper and easier to join the ACO. Plus, the ACO uses Scoreholio which is a much better platform and is easier for new players to find events.
What you talking about?!?!?! Do you really think BH has time to look at and copy designs??? And the logo I don't even know what to say, it's a C inside of a B! So NOT the same!!
BG's logo is the letters B & G. Most of their designs are their logo in different colors. Based on your logic, my logo is a copy of McDonald's because we both use the letter M. That's absurd.
Best channel in the business. Great info as always.
I like to see a play off at the end of year between the acl and aco

just makes me want to get some brotherhood bags! Hadn't really considered them but definitely will now!
"not like us" references the Kendrick Lamar song. Very on point for current events.
More than what's on the surface lol

ACL should do like bowling, where they make you check in how many bags you gonna pitch and they will check them before the venue starts.

Drove from Tampa to Vegas and buddy it was a long haul. Over 2300 miles. Tough drive for me since I don't do that kind of stuff ever

@mikesbags I agree with this. maybe if you just say "League" or "Organization" as a reference instead of ACL or ACO. just a thought
Yeah he needs to slow down some of his speech so the pronunciation is clean, not mumbled.
That's a fair point. I'll see what I can do to be clearer about which one I'm referring to. Thanks for the feedback!
@CornholeSteve I like this idea. I may try this and see how it works. Thanks!

bag companies that weren't in the top might have had a lot to do with all the pros that skipped to go to the wedding.
Lol man seems like you've got alot of time on your hands. I love it. Keep them coming.
I've done Georgia to California. 3 day, 12 hr drive a day and it grueling. i've done it once co driving and once as a young child. Its not a fun trip.
We see it Mike! Wheres that Dog Bone measuring tool from?! 😅😊
I bought that off of Facebook a year or so ago. The ACL has changed their specs so it isn't that useful anymore.
Your theory about BG gaining an advantage over the other bag companies through the ACL is definitely eye opening. I wouldn't be surprised if you're spot on and BG is trying to monopolize the bag making side of cornhole.

BG owns All Cornhole it isn't a partnership

Money flow is definitely in question.
Yet BG copied the guardian lol. There bags play different so I think BG is nervous because the youth like Brotherhood

Just my thoughts but i feel the ESPN is ruining The ACL .
Agreed, sport not big enough for exclusive broadcasting. I can watch more kricket for free than Cornhole.
I agree. There is no need for ESPN when they can stream content for free.
@@MikesBags i don’t do all the fancy tv channels so all i get to see is streamed
Guess we won’t be getting a Kingslayer video 😂
I got a set, it's extremely identical to a ripper/bambino
🤣😆

@@austin-ie7icIt's different materials. The Ripper and Bambino use the Viper-R materials. The Kingslayer materials are a little different.
Kingslayer shits on the guardian! The guardian slow side gets way too thin and stretches out too fast get ready to see a lot of them fail
Aco is alot smaller than acl

@MikesBags im speaking from what ive seen in wisconsin just based off of venue size and player count at events

BG is overrated.. all hype.. Team Reynolds!! OG IN THE GAME!!
BG owns the bottom of the placements yet calls other bags temu 😂. Apparently quantity isn't everything.
Bgs jus ain’t that hole friendly like the old ones.
Definitely something fishy going on 🤔
Wizard L most overrated bag. Wizard are better. One bag I really like is the Valkyrie otherwise no BG for me
Valkyrie is definitely their best bag imo. The Wizard L is definitely over rated imo too.
@@robertcarper5572 crazy how hole friendly the Valkyrie are, if it’s half way in it’s 90% dripping in.
@@samiclex6816 Yes,very hole friendly.
Thank you! I am big on Wizards, and absolutely hate Wizard Ls. The Wizard L is much closer to the Sorcerer than the actual Wizard.
Espn sucks but, the aco would probably get into bed with them. When you go to an espn event, so much fake hype.
