@@amaia-fb9oi I can say 100% I love it, over in my store my starting pay was also $15 an hour, but just this month the OGP department were given a pay raise, so we all make $16 an hour 🤩. I have to admit their are times when things get hectic.

My local Walmart pays $21.50 an hour for regular stocking associates/cashiers etc. I've heard of other walmarts in Maine and Alabama that pay up to 23$ an hour for the most basic positions.
Just got done with my interview at Walmart today for my OGP position and happy to say I got the job ((: waiting on orientation and I’m a little bit nervous but really excited!! (So far from everything I’ve seen and heard about the position it sounds like a great chill job, literally waking around the store grabbing stuff all day)
@@Chyntxl about 3 days, just basically showed up to the store and went in the back where they held orientation, for me it was from 8am to 3pm but it could vary for other stores, im a good 2 weeks in the job and so far everything is great, althought one of my managers is a bit of a pain but thats work lol
@@CJ-rk5hn I’m only part time so I usually only get about 26-30 hours per week, usually work 5-6 hours on a daily but I get 2 days off, schedule changes sometimes so one week I’ll come in the mornings or afternoon, earliest I work is 6am, hope you get the job man!
I just got a job there after working factory work for the past 5yrs. I want something new and different and always wanted to work there in high school, but never did. I worked nights about the whole time in the past 5yrs. I'm going to deli at 15 an hour tho and will see if I'd like to do something like overnight stocking if I don't appreciate deli as much. I've worked food before tho so I know what to expect. Taking a decent size pay cut too, but it's about being happier and it's not about the money. Factory work makes you miserable that's for sure.

Transfer to overnight, even overnight janitor makes more. Everyone is over 40+ hour, don't need to follow schedule. The system scheduled everyone for 39 hours weekly but we work 45 hours per week. More money
lol that was basically me , but I say start off with a cashier job like grocery store wise . i took the cashier job in a heartbeat because it was hard getting a job being that had no experience & was young & I just really wanted to start making my own money so it was like take this job or miss out type of thing but that definitely broke me out my shell! but if you’re not too comfortable with that route, hmm I’ll say try to find a job where you don’t have to interact all day with people(stock) & just like get comfortable with that job & maybe you can just move on up from there , you’ll definitely know when you’re ready!

I work as a full times tables games dealer making over 25 a hours 35 during the busy months but I hate that shit so know I work at Walmart Monday -Friday and Friday thru Sunday as a tables Games dealers and I love them both as of now

Ogp stays busy & when dem people orders not outside on time some customers do the absolute most. people orders / items go missing & they gotta resolve that & it’s the returns they hate doing at my Walmart (items customers don’t want or didn’t come pick up ) they’ll have like carts full to put all back everyday, I’m pretty sure it’s more but that’s what Ik since I’m just a “picker”.

I’m 5’3 but lmaoooo we got like 2 short girls pushing them things , they be having to drag it from the front @ times cause they can’t see over there groceries😂 but top level things we got these lil stick things orrr you can grab them ladder things we have in the back for stocking or you can stand on the shelf to reach what I usually do😂( not supposed to but I gotta do what I gotta do to remain a high pick rate !) I have a pretty good reach so barely I’ll have to grab a ladder from the back . Lol you gone be good girl!
