The downside to FAR103 is that it doesn’t help with lzs, only controls stuff you can do in the air. Some public property (including state parks) have laws that prohibit paramotors from launching or landing there
Sometimes the local laws are intentionally worded super vague… I’ve seen “motor vehicles prohibited” referenced for not allowing paramotors

On landing whilst touch and go. I be nervous in case a bird quickly gets spooked and fly's up and raps itself in the cables.

i was at the beach yesterday for the first time in my paramotor. took a couple of steps to see how it feels but didnt launch because i was alone and i am beginner. next time i fly there for sure. can i ask you a question about the wing? since nobody able to answer me here in china.

@@ChuckyWright It’s going to look really weird like they’re wrapped around your risers wrong when you’re facing the wing. But once you turn around, you want them already in your hands so it’s a seamless transition from reverse to forward. Would be a huge help when you’re operating in tight spaces without much of a runway. What wing did you order?
Can you rate paramotor fun experience on a scale of 1-10 & compare with few other sports like scuba/sky diving/skiing /motorbikes etc by giving them a score also?
all of them are a 10 on any given day none of them are bellow a 7 on my worst day

@@ChuckyWright what i meant was if you can RANK them. which means only 1 of them can get a score of 10, then the next will be 9 & so on. All cannot be 10 because the feedback is from best to worst in your experience!
Might be better to take the appearance ticket next time and fight it if u wanted to use that spot in the future and are sure you are correct in your interpretation of the law

No aircrafts including ultra lights, and drones are not allowed to take off or land in a state, or county park unless you have a permit.
not a a aircraft. anything that is N registered is not allowed.

Keep in mind, the Florida parks are one wrongful death lawsuit away from banning such activities. Yes, someone would sue Florida because their dumb dead relative died in a crash that was 100% his fault. So hard to hate on cops that would be blamed for "not stopping my poor boy!"

Chucky when are you giving me a lift up to 17,500 ft so I can have an epic static line jump…? Let’s be the first to do it! Did I mention I severely hate heights? Long as I have a chute and a backup I’m good. I just don’t like riding a fuel loaded giant metal thing with 300 strangers and no way out of it in the event things go wrong.

@@ChuckyWright I’m still trying to figure a way to do it. I can’t paramotor up on my own, a falling engine from 3 miles up might not be a good idea. Have you ever seen 2 people on 1 paramotor?
too bad you cant stash a can of fuel behind some bushes, for fuel stops or maybe someone can have a watering hole/gas station for flyers. lol. As far as the cops are concerned that is classified as an experimental aircraft I believe. No license or numbers required.

Have you thought about bike packing? Ride over 300kms a day on a bicycle and take in what most never see.

You are doing a disservice to the sport. Sketchy launch areas, over water with no support. Your risk taking will catch up with you eventually. You show risky behavior to new pilots.
