- Discovering new lands , finding secret and wild spaces , hiking in many different areas , are essentials activities, for me. But making my home and surroundings a world is just as much.
You have probably already felt this feeling of newness as you walk around your home on these paths that you know by heart.
And you even feel a kind of gratitude because you feel at home, and welcomed, because beauty is everywhere, all around, even without going around the planet. Beauty is there with you, wherever you are.... And that makes you infinitely grateful.
Slow living can be as simple as breathing and observing your garden, listening to the singing of these familiar birds.
Découvrir de nouvelles terres, dénicher des espaces secrets et sauvages, randonner dans de nombreux espaces différents, sont des activités essentielles pour moi. Mais faire de ma maison et de mon environnement un monde est tout aussi important.
Vous avez probablement déjà ressenti ce sentiment de nouveauté en vous promenant dans votre maison sur ces chemins que vous connaissez par cœur.
Et vous ressentez même une sorte de gratitude parce que vous vous sentez chez vous, et bien accueillis, parce que la beauté est partout, tout autour, même sans faire le tour de la planète. La beauté est là avec vous, où que vous soyez... Et cela vous rend infiniment reconnaissant.
La vie lente peut être aussi simple que respirer et observer votre jardin, écouter le chant de ces oiseaux familiers.
I live in the southwest of France. My channel is dedicated to the simple life, to the pleasure of the little things of life, through travel, observation of Nature and back to basics.

I love how you show us the calm and beauty of slow living! You always encourage me to find the beauty that is present right beside me! Sometimes I get discouraged because there are many weeds invading my flower garden, but I love all the flowers and I’m thankful for them. I’m slowly covering the whole area with flowering plants so the weeds simply have no room! 🥰❤ 🌸🌸💕💕
Hi Jen, Yes, it’s a strategy: the hotel is full. No more room for weeds. There are many weeds that I find pretty. And I like this kind of clutter in the vegetation.... Your right about your world being your home (it struck me that the other day I walked up a local hill near my home and from the top (it’s not that high) I could see my world or at least the world I spend 99.9% of my time ! The local towns and cities that are indeed my world most of the time 🙏🏼
