James' moaning at the beginning of the Polar Special is hilarious to me because he did all that moaning and arguing with Clarkson the whole trip, only to beat Hammond to the North Pole.
Like Jeremy said in the episode, he's the first person to make it to the North Pole, who didn't want to be there!

@@charliejones3119 no actually As a joke/for this reason Idk who the Stig was at this Point if it was Ben Collins he arrived separately and had to do some work with some of the people who helped make the 3 series race ready they signed an agreement that no one was to know who was the Stig so as a joke/confidentially thing a lot of people there put the Stig next to there name or put it down. Ben Collins didn't put his name down but just Stig so no one knew who it was well other than the Crew, Trio and people who helped build the Car.

They should do a Cannonball run for The Grand Tour, and talk to people who have done it. It would be interesting to see what car(s) they would do it in.
It would be entertaining, but no streaming service would ever broadcast it as cannonball running is technically breaking the law in multiple ways if you want your run time to be measured in hours instead of days. It’s a shame, as the people involved are very interesting and could be great to have on, it’s just that doing a cannonball run on tv is implied criminal activity, and as such would be corporate suicide

The first one is my all time favourite! I remember the first time I ever saw it on TV all those years ago when it came out, I laughed for about ten minutes just at this.

My dad bought one of those old right-hand mail trucks when I was a kid.
It was cool at first because it was different, but the novelty wore off quickly, and it was damned inconvenient in a country where everything is designed with left-hand steering in mind.
For one, our gated community required you to enter a code to open the gate...and the keypad was on the left side of the car. The gate only stayed up for five seconds to prevent anyone from following you in. You can figure this one out.
