A big thank you to EarthBreeze for sponsoring this video! The rain was coming down in sheets... a typical rainy Sunday in Vancouver, but that didn't stop me and my good friends Nicole and James from venturing out to a Brunch Buffet! We've heard there was a new buffet in town and I've actually visited them before when they put on a buffet for special occasions, but I'm happy to say it's offered on a regular basis. This is at the Steakhouse called The Victor and they offer their "Spoils of Sunday" brunch Buffet. This wasn't your average all-you-can-eat buffet - this was a steakhouse going all out! Great steaks and roasts, a buffet, and you also get to choose an a la carte item from the menu!
The moment we walked in, the smell of roasting prime rib hit us and all was right with the world. The buffet was a meat lover's paradise, with all kinds of roasts and other deliciousness. Lots of great sushi that showcased the seafood of the Pacific Northwest and some seafood items. And if you want more seafood, they've got you covered!
You also got to choose something special from the menu. I went for the crab cakes Benedict and it was pure haven. Lots of carb and no filler so that the mounds of crab meat was just falling apart covered with the crunchy coating smothered with luscious runny egg yolk and a rich hollandaise sauce. I would highly recommend this to be your pick!
Great food, great friends, and lots and lots of Mimosas!

That eco sheet, if it really works, looked amazing.
Growing up in Vancouver, Mum used to tell us “It doesn’t matter that it’s raining, go outside and play. You’re not made of sugar, you won’t melt!❤
The West Coast of BC, including Vancouver Island, specializes in grey and wet!
Thank you Tim for covering Vancouver some more 🎉
Nice to get to exploring your own city!
Vancouver has been on my list for a couple of years now...I'm going to within the next 3 years...such gread food. Thank you for a great video!
Hope you are able to make it for a visit soon! Very nice here in the summertime and if you like skiing, winter is great as well
This was a very yummy buffet and had a relaxing feel. Thank you Tim for sharing your friends with us. ❤
Looks like a great time with friends!
It was a very nice get together!
Sunday fun day with Tim and friends. Thank you for another great video. ❤
Thank you so much and hope you had a great Sunday also!🙏🙂
nice to see you giving some love to Van again
It’s very nice to explore in your own city. Need to do a little bit more of that.😃
Sold. You really put in the extra work to convey the whole experience. This would be a great venue for a family birthday brunch.
It’s a pretty nice buffet, there’s less variety than the typical Vegas buffets, but every dish was done well. Plus the à la cart dish included set it over the top and I would highly recommend the crabcakes Benedict
Great video!! So nice to meet your friends 💕. Mmmm...that crab Benedict looked amaaaazing 🤩. Thanks again for bringing us along and "hey" to James and Nicole.
Will certainly pass that along to James and Nicole! The crabcakes eggs Benedict certainly set the buffet over the top
Love to go to Vancouver and Canada! The nature out there looks amazing. I know a Buddhist monk from Canada. He said most times of the year the climate is super cold.
I think the lifestyle in Canada would be somewhat similar to Australia.
Love your buffet vids Tim. I watch then while I'm having my lunch. Double drool 🤤!
Love from Melbourne ❤.
Always love Nichole. It’s nice to see everyone.
Will definitely pass that along to Nicole! Thank you so much
Hi Tim...did the buffet have any fried chicken or crab legs? I also didn't see any shrimp or hash browns. The buffet seemed pretty subdued, but still very nice.
Nice company you had. I would be right at the slots with Nicole 😂. Thanks for sharing this review 🙂
Yeah nice to see Nicole!
Nice to meet your friends! The prime rib, mashed potatoes as well as many other food looks delish. Thank you for sharing!
There was so much butter in the mashed potatoes! Very delicious
Thank you Tim for another great video! 😋
Hello Nicole, Tim and James...long time I haven't seen you Nicole 🤗, hope all is well with you ❤...great looking brunch with great friends 👍...wished all buffets was so nicely displayed 😋...enjoy and have a great day 😘🤗❤
Thank you Jade and will make sure to pass along the greetings to James and Nicole! Hope you’re having a great Sunday also
Thanks for another amazing video🎉keep ROCKING
Thank you 🙏
❤❤❤ you filmed this so well and your friends are as sweet and loving as you
Welcome back 😮been waiting for more Vancouver videos 😮🎉❤
Very nice to explore places at home... it's actually quite nice in Vancouver -- it doesn't rain all the time 😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo will you be here for a while or do you have more plans for adventure and friends and drinks ?
Hello Nicole, James and Tim! The food looks yummy especially crab Benedict!! Thank you all for sharing your food adventures with. Be safe everyone.
Really great to get to connect with the friends and that crabcake eggs Benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had
Cant wait to check this out. Quality over quantity yum 😋
Oh, I must say the roasts and especially that crab cake were done so well!
So nice to see James and esp Nicole. Your video celebrating her birthday at the Greek place is one of my faves. That French toast looks great! (I know bananas, ha, ha). That was a lovely restaurant. Like the booths, plates, water glasses. Love an old school type steak place. Happy Sunday from rainy Oregon.
It was a very nice brunch and great to connect with James and Nicole. I still recall that at the end of the day from the previous birthday outing, we were both uncomfortably full😁
Food looks great as always and you have a great day Tim ❤😊
It was a nice buffet and glad to see more places offering these buffet brunches!
Great video as always! Looked like a sumptuous spread! I need to make it out to Vancouver when I'm stateside sometime!
The food looks great.Hello to your friends.☺️
Wow, that Oscar Crab Egg Benedict looks fantastic!! Thanks Tim for the great buffet and friends, Melaney from SoCal
Thank you so much and greetings to you from Vancouver! If you ever make it up here, would highly recommend the crabcakes eggs Benedict😋
Tim, another amazing buffet with benefits. Something to remember the next time I have any type of bun, I can make it into a sandwich of my choice. Nice to see your friends again.❤
It’s nice to get some culinary tips from a Barbadian😁
Always good watching you Tim love you and your posts and hello from New Zealand
Love Nicole! What a beautiful buffet. Great price too in my opinion. 😊
Will pass that along to Nicole! The price was pretty good considering the cost of a prime rib dinner would have been more😋
Hello tim welcome back to Vancouver sir. Nice buffet had to be busy there thank you for sharing
Whoa... thx tim... i didn't even know about this buffet in vancouver
It's a nice find and not too well known... Glad to have more of these places where we can sample and graze on a variety of dishes ;-)
Crab Cake Benedict! OMG that looks so yummy!
Ty’s fr the amazing video stay bless melb aust
45 per person. about the same as Brazilian steak house's lunch. both have high quality beef. but this one has more varieties of food. definitely want to try it out next time I go to Vancouver.
Would highly recommend a crabcake egg Benedict if you get a chance. Lots of crab meat and no filler!😋
Loooooooooooooooooved Vancouver beautiful city.
It's quite nice when not raining :-D
another awesome restaurant you went to Tim, its really nice to catch up with friends as well.
Really nice to catch up with Nicole and James. LOL... we kinda made it look as if Nicole was quite the gambler ;-)
You tried one! As I'm living downtown at the moment I'll make plans to go next Sunday. Tried a nice Indian buffet for lunch downtown the other day for 19.95
Ohh, nothing like an Indian buffet! 😋
Where exactly was the Indian buffet? 😊
Tim… it is great your channel is growing… I rember seeing you as you started with just under 300 subscribers… amazing that you now have over 133,000 … amazing
Thank you so much! Really grateful to get to visit and share these experiences 🙂. It’s really a joy and a nice escape from the day to day work life🙂
I've Been to Vancouver a few times and always had a great time. This Buffet looked like it had quality without the Vegas style selection. Which is fine so you can get more of your favorites. Welcome home Tim 😊
Thank you so much and nice to be home. Very enjoyable and it’s actually a fairly good deal because the prime rib dinner alone would be more than the cost of the Buffet😋
Oh man, we should I saw this video this morning!
Definitely a nice place to visit. Great value, considering that a prime rib dinner would usually be more than the cost of the buffet.😉
Great Sunday with Tim Lee!❤ Cold and raining sounds good. It's 91° in Georgia. 🥵
If only we can average out the two!
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes! That would be perfect weather!
I always enjoy your videos
Thank you so much! It's just another rainy day in Vancouver😉
The food at this buffet looks amazing. Cheers, Tim and God Bless! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦
It was a nice experience! Not a lot of variety, but everything they had was done very well
Crab cake benedict looks awesome!
There was a limited selection of seafood at the buffet but that dish certainly made up for it😋
Wow that place is a paradise for someone like me who eats alot of meat daily and the price is very reasonable too.
Thank you. Want to try it someday
It’s actually quite good because a prime rib dinner will run you about $60 by itself. Really enjoyed the crabcakes and the prime rib was very tender.
Yummers!!!
😋
I'm glad I recently watched some past videos and saw one with Nicole and James... is it Nicole's B-day again?? That's a lovely place especially liked the plates and that booth y'all were in.
Nicole‘s birthday is still a few months away, and I recall the last time, we were both uncomfortably full at the end😁
Yet another great video and so glad you had your friends to join you the crab Benedict looked amazing I tell all the men Happy Father's Day have a great day ❤
Thank you so much and hope you had a happy Father’s Day as well! Really enjoyable hearing and that was probably one of the best crabcakes I’ve had
My husband did thank you
Looking forward to get away from the Vegas heat and visit Vancouver.
those fries!!! Yum!!
Just needed some fried crunchy potatoes for breakfast😋
Love the local content! I always go for the fatty pieces of prime rib too
That’s awesome! That’s where all the flavour is😋
Wow Tim, you've had 33,338 views in the last 20 hours, well done. It's great to see so many others enjoying your video's as well.
Incredibly grateful to get to connect with everyone here! It’s an absolute privilege to get to visit and share these interesting places 🙂🙏
Tim is one of few people that are always in a good mood and mellow. Reminds me of alex mandel. magic man.
It’s difficult to be in a bad mood at a steakhouse with a buffet😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo lol very true!
Those mashed potatoes looked heavenly
You can really taste the butter!😋
thanks bro next week will be in the fasting mode before going to that place
Very nice buffet, in Vancouver🙂👍
It’s nice to see more Buffet coming back!
great
You can never over do it with the mimosas……maybe the samosas but not the mimosas😂😂😂
thank you for sharing nice video.
It was a nice buffet… Everything you needed for brunch, with the mimosas😉
The crab eggs benedict looked great as did all the sushi.
They really do a good job their dishes. It’s nice to find a crabcake with no filler.
Steak looks Yummy, looks like server Stingy on the Slice
👍👍
It was a bit in indeed! Could’ve used a thicker slice😉
WE went right under that stadium in Vancouver when the ice game grand final was on.Pretty impressive.
You mean hockey? 😅😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes! that's the one where they like fight each other.
I like the bunnyhug that James is wearing.
He’s a Saskatchewan rough riders fan!🙂
Hey Tim! nice to see you back in vancouver. let's catch up
It’s great to be able to explore in your hometown. Thank you so much.🙏
Cool video as always! They were very frugal in the carvery station. You would need to go back 10 times before you get a regular portion.
I could’ve used a thicker slice 😉
Tim, have you ever considered visiting Barbados with Nicole? I visited back in the late 1980s, and I would say it is very difficult to find a more welcoming paradise anywhere.
Nicole goes back every year… If I can manage my vacation time, I might join her!
Tim, Nice Buffet. Very tasty looking food. Today I dined at Zhenders in Frankenmuth Michigan. Excellent cuts of Rare & Fatty Prime Rib served by the very friendly n funny Chef Jason. Miranda my waitress was very attentive. Other offering was very tasty breaded shrimp, reknown Fried Chicken, Pork loin, mashed potatoes, Butter Noodles, Signature Dressing n House Chicken gravy. Salads. Dessert table that is outstanding. All Staff a joy to work with. Kudos. Fly in sometime Tim to give it a try. From the 👍. Best
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and that sounds like an amazing place! Zhenders sounds phenomenal and noted it down. Thank you so much for the suggestion and you had me at fried chicken and prime rib. The butter noodles is just icing on the cake so to speak.😋
Go riders!!!!
Everything delicious ❤ I mean, I was literally drooling. What was that yellow pastry you went for on the first plate? Was that a lemon something ? Yummy !!
It was quite a nice experience and the roasts were superb. The funny thing is I couldn’t figure out what the fruit was on that yellow pastry. Still a mystery.😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo 😂 awwww ...
OK... those slices of prime rib and sassague is tiny. The prime rib cut was almost balona thin... like from a deli slicer. They need to give you a 1/4" slice at least. Good offertings for $65, but cheap on portions.
Tim did ask for only a little bit . Just sayin 🤷♀️
@@ashleybreckheimer1387 19:18 Tim says "a nice fatty cut" for the prime rib
@kennethc3398 a little bit of a nice fatty cut, lol mmk. I stand solid !
That’s Vancouver for you. Overpriced and largely disappointing. There was a brilliant buffet each Sunday (with live jazz) at the Granville Island hotel for $25 (2007-2009). But that didn’t survive. Good food and memories however.
What a typical Vancouver disaster. Marshmallow and cookies as dessert options. Christ. These people are so cynical they never even cared once about their business.
I should try this one, thanks for the video! Have you tried Fufu cafe on west Broadway yet? Great brunch place. Close to it is also Salmon and Bannock which is an amazing indigenous restaurant!
Thank you so much for the suggestion! Fufu cafe… is that the African fufu dish?
@@TimLeeLetsGo no, Japanese soufflé pancakes, fruit sando's and amazing everything miso scones. I also love their rose lattes.
Very nice 🤠
😋🙏
It's always the potatoes that get Tim! Those fries add a $15 upcharge to the bill.. Anyone else I'd call them crazy, but Tim could put down an extra $100 for potatoes and I wouldn't even be surprised! 😂💕
Good eye! Those were probably one of the more expensive french fries I’ve had… Breakfast was just missing some thing without fried potatoes and they were very enjoyable but pricey
Have you been to the buffet at Bruno hotel in Richmond? It’s similar to this one-limited selection but high quality food. We really enjoyed it. We’ll definitely try this one out. Thanks!
Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to go one day! Thank you so much for the great suggestion 😃
Very Nice
It was great to have an entree along with the buffet 😋
I live in the bottom of South Carolina across the river from Augusta, GA. The food here is, to my mind, worst of anywhere else I've lived. Buffets are seldom found and even then the foods are your basic tasteless messes. Do the state a big favor and find decent buffets here, south and west of Columbia, east of Atlanta. It's a dare, cuz I don't believe great buffets live here.
I would love to take up the challenge although I suspect it wouldn’t be too difficult. Heard such great things about north / South Carolina…. Will keep an eye on vacation days to hopefully plan a trip
Try Secret Garden Buffet beside Lougheeed mall, if you have a chance.
Wait! There is a buffet here in Lougheed Mall!😃😃😃
Nice rider hoodie and they won today too .
Go Riders! by the way, the Grey Cup is in BC this year!
I assume you can get just the buffet? You don't have to order anything off the menu? If so, I would go for more slices of meat off the buffet, especially the prime rib and the honey-glazed ham. The food looked very good.
I should’ve mentioned, that the buffet also includes an entrée off the menu. I have noticed some people just enjoying the buffet and taking their entrées to go kind of nice to have two meals in one.
Yep, you really went light on the dessert. 😂
Yeah, unfortunately the dessert choices were a bit modest. I recall there were many more selections from the first time we went.
Super Delish!!!!
It was such a nice way to spend a rainy Sunday
Welcome back Nickole 😂
Tyvm and yqw 😊
Where was the cheese, Tim?!? The CHEESE, Tim!!!!
Heh... you're right! It's a modest buffet but sure could've used some cheese! I recall there were more offerings before but I suspect it's still ramping up.
Tim, we need an video of Barbados 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!
😁😁😁.
Cream with Coffee! 😝
😋
It looks okay, but I'm still going to drive 3 hours down I5 for the harvest buffet!
looks better than some Vegas casino buffets
It certainly wasn’t as grand or have as much variety as those in Vegas, but every dish they had was done very well
❤❤❤
🙏
How about you go to Denneys? Sooo glad you can eat so well..
I, love eat eat
🙏😋
❤
🙏
Did anyone try the oysters?
Pretty good price
It’s actually quite a nice value and the buffet is actually less than the cost of a prime rib dinner
Welcome back home Tim. I will try this place for my 10th wedding anniversary this July. Thanks, and good to see you!
A very happy anniversary to you both!!!
Willing to try the detergent but your discount code won’t work. I tried twice.
Thank you so much! Give the link in the description a try! It seems to be okay. Thank you again!
The way he’s cutting those meets it’ll take them years to go through that whole prime rib, sausage and ham
It’s kinda like the story about feeding 5000 with five loaves of bread and two small fish😉
How could someone order French toast or eggs as the main dish , ?
Great video! I'm really hungry now. How do you eat so much? Please answer!!
Thank you so much! It was a great meal and trust me, none of us ate anything for the rest of the day.
Does it include a beverage?
Unfortunately (or fortunately) not -- for fear of over indulging in the mimosas... I think (but not sure) the coffee was included, but need to check the bill again.
Love a quality buffet for a good price, which appears to be the case for the buffet you are sharing.🤗 Unfortunately, buffets here in Vegas have out-priced themselves as far as I'm concerned. I normally would go to a casino, at least once a week...do a bit of gambling and enjoy a nice buffet...most times "free" or at a small price because of "points".
Since COVID, most former buffets in the "locals" casinos have been transformed into food halls which are of little interest to me...and the pricing for buffets at the larger casinos are outrageous...😳
Tourists may be fine with it, as their time here is a "special occasion"...but many locals would now prefer to stay away 🙄
I still remember years ago that Vegas was still a great place to have a low-cost buffet or a nice prime rib dinner. Things have certainly got more expensive now.
