I am listening to this masterpiece for the thousandth time and it still amazes me and lifts the spirit up. This is a formula for a guaranteed good mood.
This is PHENOMENAL. Not just being able to play a complex piece of music this fast so cleanly, but so musically and so expressively. Really impressive!
@@thmsrttg Why would it matter how complex it is “melodically?” Don’t think a statement like that takes away from it in any way whatsoever. It was still phenomenal.
Of course. It's a Yamaha. Screw Steinway! Although, the mic makes this piano sound like a Yamaha CP70 or CP80, electric pianos Yamaha introduced in 1978.
@@victoza9232 Yeah, I think this is a Yamaha Grand CFX. They sound very bright, metallic and crisp. Just perfect for this piece. Cost around 250,000 USD haha.

I've listened to many phenomenal pianists over the years, but NEVER have I witnessed one with as powerful a left hand as this kid. He just grinds out rhythms and his beat is so clear and driving. Man oh man.
I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take for this muscle memory, cut to 3/4's finished when he's bobbing his head and looking into the audience without a care in the world, loving every second of it, never missing a note.
