I just bought one for my 12yo son as a reward for getting to sub-30 ao5 (He's never worked this hard on anything in his life so I want to encourage him). Could you tell me how you set up your v9 so I can help him decide what to do with it? Sorry if you get this question a lot, we're new to cubing, but getting serious.

Do you think the WRM v9 is worth it to get, and if so which version do you think is the best?
If you have a cube you’re happy with, it’s not necessary to get the v9, but if you don’t or you really want to try I would get the ball-core version

depends on your turning style, I would say more aggressive is better for the YS3 and lighter is better for the v9
