the best decision Amaarae made was focusing on global market early on. Ghanaians don't support like that especially for unconventional sounds she does and she realized this.
Now whatever agenda Ghanaians put on her, it won't affect her career whatsoever because her fanbase be mainly outside Ghana anyway.

I enjoyed the interview, this is the first Ghanaian artist that gave due credits even when they tried to put words in her mouth and she stood her ground( by crediting the Nigerian audience and space for their dedication and allyship towards her career till date)She was so lovely and honest, such fresh air 😂😂😂.
I 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Amaare for letting the hosts understand that Nigerian alte space is huge b4 now, cuz 2morrow they wld say they created the alte space and Nigerians copied

If we can name 25 African artists who are performing as well as if not better than western artists, why can't they compete in the same categories especially when it is typically the same few western artists that get nominated for the same awards year after year?

You just see Amarae n))) you just want betray other Gh artistes, why?
