You can show 'pleasant' scenes in Maryvale all day long and it doesn't change the fact that I still fear for my life any time I have to drive through that armpit. NOTHING will ever bring back the wonderful community there that I grew up in. It's lost forever thanks to falling property values failing family values, gangs and crime. The last time I was there I had to turn left on 59th Avenue to go East down Osborn Road. The light turned red and I was still stuck in the intersection because dozens of thugs were still crossing the road illegally and blocking my way through. When I honked at them they just threw things at my car and started beating on it as well. I finally had to drive right through these animals. Maryvale is dead.
