Was there a period where Scarecrow committed farm themed crimes and not just in the first cartoon? If so, I'll never complain about his fear gimmick again.
Aside from the Arkham Asylum bias I thought Gotham had the best media interpretation of Scarecrow. He was genuinely scarier than any LA scarecrow, and made a name for himself aside from working with Jerome and Jervis. He didn’t feel like a pawn, but rather a character of his own, like in the Asylum game. I also like the New 52 inspiration of his father being the reason Johnny does what he does today. The Animated Series comes close, but I think Gotham overall had my favorite tv and movie Crane adaptation. If any sources of media was taken into consideration tho then Asylum would be first, because of the nostalgic fun I have, and it being the scarecrow I was introduced to and grew up with
Thank you for the video! it's nice to see it all side-by-side (even if u did skip him tossing his kama in the anime fight heh) though I wish there was a compilation like this that interjected the clips with comic screenshots, maybe snippets of what their comic versions were like as well. I love how visually we've gone back around to his first animated appearance being absolutely terrifying if reintroduced today, especially if you pair it with his fear gimmick and reintroduce his love for nursery rhymes.
Went from a goofy ass dude robbing a farmers market (wtff🤣) to a legit terrifying zombie of a man detonating a chemical weapon in Gotham
What kid?
What kid?
He's been through rough times I guess 😂
He still looks kinda scary with those black eyes.

0:15 most depraved and diabolical villain plot in all of comic book history
“That Monster!!!!”

Yes,yes there was.
Man, Scarecrow is such a cool villian
GOTHAM DEFINITELY NAILED THE DESIGN & THE BACKSTORY
The backstory isn’t exactly the same but it’s great nonetheless

Someday, I want to hear the Scarecrow quote T.S. Elliot and say “I will show you fear in a handful of dust!”
Cillian nailed it

I wish there was another video like this. They are definitely more scarecrows out there now.

And they are?
@@BananaHoovyJ.Rabbit brave and the bold for example. Sa lot of nom speaking parts and the games obv
@@jakubpuchalski2583 The Title says T.V. and Movies so I wouldn't expect the game Scarecrows to be on here anyway.
@@amethystjade9331 Still Brave and the Bold should've been on here.
Thats still not a lot
And the legion of doom version?
Omg. . That last version of him. . *simp noises*
Where were the Arkham games
Only Cillian Murphy should be allowed to play Scarecrow
DAVE W. THOMPSON IS WAY WAY BETTER
I think James Spader could play the Scarecrow!
