I love this so much. Reminds me of renaissance incantations wherein a series of complex movements and utterances were aggregated to summon spirits and perform miracles. Amazing, too, to *watch* the rhythm of the piece unfold and think about whether the performer is composing the sound, or the sound is composing the performer. Or, maybe, as is the case with incantations, a little of both is happening. Riveting!

Thanks so much Ken! I'm really glad the piece made you think and feel. Sometimes when you perform the piece, you forget if you're creating the sound, as well!

It's aphasia. The hand signals represent the idea the aphasic person is thinking. But it comes out garbled as sound. Pretty brilliant I think.

Excellent multi-camera work & I really like the light fade-out at the end... a nice poetic liberty on your part as performer.

This is a good way to elaborate me dealing with my hyperactive mind. However I'm not sure this is healthy nor productive to making sense of the world we all hardly understand already lol

Watch kids. That's what happens when you think to much of yourself.

But it can only potentially work if you are really good at something. The guy is actually brilliant on conventional instruments, but I do think the experimental stuff is pretty much random noise and so overrated. I guess this just sounds bad because I'm only a really good musician, but I'm not in the top 0.001% lol.

This guys experimental music is seriously so overrated. I feel like it's automatically perceived as being good because of his previous history. It's funny watching some of the live videos where you see the other people on instruments / machines and people around listening. I can't help but think these people want to say the music doesn't sound good, but they are all afraid to speak out.
