Great play with an atmosphere. Great vocals. First two track are flawless (this opening and closing in Forest of Níðstang is insane) - a lot of changes in dynamics and climate. Really cool guitar solos (especially in Whiro's Hunger). Generally a lot of great ideas with good execution. Really good album and I'm looking forward to hear from Belliciste in the future as I see a lot of potential in this duo.
Fuck, I missed this. Saw just now that this evening a premiere for the new album starts, and I wondered if there´s allready other stuff here of this band. Now I found this, and I´m glad that I was searching for it. Good band, damn. Now I´m looking forward to listen to the new stuff. Will have to wait til tomorrow, though...
the title of the album got me interested to listen and glad I did!! Those riffs/solo's 🖤 and vocals are incredible! This one is going in my top 2018 albums. Im very impressed and have it on repeat. Def gonna buy this beauty 🖤
I bought this album at random without knowing anything about who conspired in the creation of the work and I found a pleasant surprise .. raw, cold, dark, nostalgic melodies and great solos! Killer stuff with apologies to Finland Spiritual Sound
muy extrema esta banda..pero si tiene unos riff bastante interesante. algunos pasajes en la primera cansion me hiso recordar a natasha in eternal sleep de dark throne...buen grupo buen black metal
Quick detail-related question: their Facebook page lists them as coming from Edinburgh, United Kingdom - yet the description above states Belliciste come from New Zealand? Miscommunication, minor mistake...? Just pointing it out! :)

One of the greatest BM albums I've yet to hear

The whole album is amazing . Astonishing black metal !!!! \m/
Hail from Czech Republic, very good Black metal.
The last song (7)of Belliciste sounds definitely like song "Kun aukeaa mysteerit kuoleman" from the album' 16 by Finnish bm band Antimateria.
It also reminds me of a couple Finnish bands as well. Which is the best reference for a band, imho.
Wow! I have to add this band to my collection! Great band. A must have album!
Bom Black Metal bem tradicional
25 years later...the children of the northern heroes are doing it....

Didier Goossens I think they started in NZ and later relocated to the UK.
