dude i get chills from watching this... the buzz of theater before a show starts is a feeling you can never forget, the magic of theater can never be replaced.

I’m so excited I’m playing jasmine in the upcoming aladdin jr in my town and I can’t wait just seeing the broadway version is magical and I can’t wait to learn more it’s been so magical so far 💗

I met one of the thieves last summer, he taught us choreo from the show in New York. Such a great guy ... a lot of these B-way performers are so normal and humble. Love it.

I love Mena Massoud but as far as live action Aladdin's go, Adam Jacobs will always be Aladdin to me. I don't think they could have picked a more perfect person for the role.
I was lucky to meet him very briefly at a Dunkin Donuts when Aladdin was in LA and he was very sweet, amidst much fangirling.
Seeing this show in person is a must. It's spectacular.

I took my family to see Aladdin at the Pantages in Los Angeles last Saturday, 1/13/2018. It was an extremely well-done production. Excellent choreography and set design. Michael James Scott puts in a great performance as the genie. Highly recommended!

The actress playing Jasmine is lovely, and has a gorgeous, natural figure -- thankfully NOT anorexic-looking, nor with grotesque Madonna arms.
+jetuber If you look at other broadway stars you'll find that none of them look like that. It's just not possible with all of the physical work they do for them to look sticks because of their muscle mass.

I've always loved the in depth backstage special features for Broadway or West End Productions. It makes the audience have a greater appriciation for all of the work done over the years for what is presented today. That adn it's so much fun to see everybody having a blast no matter how physically taxing this field of work is. No question that everyone is having the time for their lives.

My dance school did Aladdin last year and I got to play genie! And you have no way of knowing how tiring it is until you do the show. It was sooooo much fun but I was super tired after it

I loved this show of when I went to see this way before the whole pandemic even had started last year the whole cast and crew did such an incredible job making such a great show I always had a fantasy of mine of being princess jasmine when I was younger watching the animation movie until it came out into the live action in the movie theaters I also enjoyed that as well but when I found out this was going to be a musical I just had to go and see this myself I was so excited to watch I felt like I was in the movie when I saw this live on stage
I remember seeing this for there very first show ever in Toronto, ont before it went to new York and it was amazing

Wow, I just love Disney on Broadway. I always want to see Broadway musical shows especially from Disney. I love the actors who were in Disney on Broadway shows, the costumes, set designs, the musics/songs and most of all the special effects and lighting that's the magic in every Disney Broadway musicals.
I wish I wrote this part in 5 years ago sorry I'm doing it a little late. When they got Johnathan Freeman to reprise his role as Jafar I was wondering is that even legal in Broadway musicals? Because when they put Frozen on Broadway they didn't get Idina Menzel to reprise her role of Elsa.

I'm seeing Aladdin in May! When I go behind the theatre to see the cast and get autographs, I'm going to ask Adam how his twins are doing. And I'm going to ask Courtney what it was like to be on Criminal Minds. And then ask James M. what it's like to ride the ferry to work each day. Then all of them will be so confused!

My dream is Broadway, I definitely see myself singing and dancing and just bringing the show to life, but I have a question, apart from singing and acting, If one wants to become the main (or one of the main characters) do you have to be professionally experienced? because I see the actor that plays Genie, and.... he doesn't look like he would have years and years of dance experience. If someone could help me clear this doubt I'd be really grateful. :)
Its not necessary because theyll teach u the different dances but its def better to have experience in dancing

I feel you. See, I'm stuck between two dreams. I LOVE acting with a burning passion. I just have a huge urge to play so many different people and it would be Heaven to even play at my local theatre let alone Broadway, but I know that acting is extremely difficult and to get on Broadway you unfortunately need to go to a drama school and stuff. My other dream is behind the camera doing editing/working with special effects and stuff. I kinda feel like I'd like to do it all :P. But the world is a cruel place. However, don't give up on your dream. I'm going for the media dream (a college course in TV production and stuff) but I'm also going to take any acting opportunities I get. Hey, there's always Britain/America's got talent if you're really good and want a shortcut :P. Haha, what am I saying? Those shows don't like talented folk.

Why did Jasmine have to wear a wig when her real hair looked exactly the same, I just guess this is why these shows have such big budgets.
DSM Productions (official) Changing her hair throughout the show constantly to match the event/costume in the show. She couldn't restyle it in enough time for costume changes
What Tara said and also because styling her hair multiple times a day per show would kill it with all the products and heat styling.
Most human hair can take a big of styling, I know a lot of girls who process their hair often and it does them no harm.
DSM Productions (official) I suppose its just a preference and more efficient. slipping on a wig is easier in theater for me even if I already have hair close to it. Its harder to keep my hair as up to par as a wig that can be styled and stored to look perfect the next night and so on.
You're an actress, I never knew, if you had some pictures of yourself in wigs I'd like to see them for quality as I am a casting director and love to see how the world of hair and wigs works.
