She died?!?!!
@@leenbean2998, yes, in 2015.
Mari Rodriguez did she die of drowning???
@@axbaxb1320 how???
May she rest in peace, a legend was gone from earth, but will always remain in our hearts
if anybody else was worrying how she died (since people only want to comment rip and then not explain.. 😐) natalia was giving a private lesson august 2015 and is thought to have been caught in a current. she went missing and people only searched for her for about 3 days before giving up, and she was never found
She turned mermaid and decided to living in ocean forever
@@tunatros8317 seriously? Ok
@@Forzendream 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Their is any theory on natalia's missing ?
Well, today I learned that freediving is a thing! This was somehow both soothing and terrifying to watch

How did she die?
@@hellokittybg93 went 40m deep and never came up for air according to Spanish reports
@@Ys_Guy did they find the body?
@@hellokittybg93 doesn't seem like it according to Wikipedia:
"On 2 August 2015, she was reported missing after giving a private lesson dive near Formentera, Spain.[2] She went down to a depth of 40 metres (131 ft.), not as deep as normal, but caught by a current, without weights, she is thought to have been taken down. She never came up for air. Initial rescue and recovery efforts were unsuccessful.[2] As of 4 August, search and rescue efforts continued, but she was presumed dead by the search party, including her son Alexey Molchanov.[11][2][12]
The Spanish Civil Code provides that a missing person by shipwreck or amid a dangerous activity shall be declared deceased in absentia three months after a missing report.[13]"

I came here in comment section to get some air while watching this for 30 seconds.
I watched this at first like ok.. Then it got my full attention! Wow! This is amazing! I came up for air 10 times.
I was holding my breath and I don’t know why. It was like an automatic reaction to this video and I didn’t realize it until I almost passed out! Crazy
So satisfying to watch!! They streamline smoothly!!
I was out of breath in the middle of the pool......on the first lap.🤦🏽♀️🥵🤣🤣😂😂
Michelle, don’t feel bad. She was quite the underwater breathholder girl, wasn’t she?! Most women (and men) can’t hold their breath underwater for quite as long as she was able to
@@markfox9034 shut up mark
Always to perfection!
I’m a swimmer and all I can say is how do they deal with that co2 buildup in there lunges
I almost died on tho couch holding my breath for less than 30 seconds. Do you hate me that much oxygen??
Derrick Derrick nahh its your lungs dude
Total opposite oxygen love u too much
I'm surprised that she does multiple kicks without using her arms. But then, she always amazes me!
Conserves energy
More drag moving your arms forward again. Your legs aren't affected quite so much because they are in the body's slip stream, and they are bigger and more energy efficient.
That is proper lung capacity. *GREATEST FEMALE FREEDIVER EVER RIP*
Did you mean "greatest freediver"? Or you just mean it inside the female group?
*I can hold my breath for real long when my dad farts*

What?
I just about farted from laughing so hard at this comment!😂
Real life
Lmao
Wow,! Que bárbara,! Felicidades, Natalia,!
my record is only 70 meters having of tried it my self makes this seem so much more impressive
Finn Bismark lol mines around 25 and in a much smaller pool
Mine too, ~70m but with fins.
Lol I thought it would be a disqualified attempt, because of the "DNF" terminology.. it usually means "did not finish" :P
Lars Larsen dynamic no fins in this context
I thought same😂
DNF terminology isn't a disqualification
Dynamic no fins, done barefoot not with fins
So amazing!!! I can’t even go there and back...
Idk how she did that for 3:30 minutes. Its hard enough to do a static breathold for 3 minutes what more to swim! 😮
agreed - she was a beast!
3 min sta is very easy even for beginners just in one week 😉🤫
Respect!
She had more than 40 world records.
What a beautiful experience just watching her
I can hold my breath for 2 minute under the water,, but this is awesome

3 legkicks and a breaststroke. one to remember. Nice detail too, touching the back wall, and setting off from the ledge :-) that's 7x10 cm extra
Truly a remarkable performance.
It is mstly about the time under water not distance
@@dr.physiker9930 nope. then that would be the static discipline. dynamic is always about the distance and never about the time.
This is on a very.. Very much impressive..
Excelente!!! Bellisimo!!!
OMG amazing
Hola !!!! Como puedo hacer para aguantar mas bajo el agua y no salir enseguida a la superficie? Porqué por más que he sacado todo el aire antes mi cuerpo sale a flote

La piscine n'est que de 25 metres. Elle a fait env. 185 m.
This appears to be a pool for underwater breath holders. Everyone in the background is also doing underwater breathless laps
She made this looks easy ..WOW i mean like she's really comfortable doing it.
Just how do you train for that....
Under how many kicks on a wall a record is validated, please?
If there is no such limit of how frequently the diver can use such good help from a wall-kick, then I would suggest a very narrow swimming pool, as narrow as possible, so the diver could kick from a wall even more often, which would help quite a lot.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
I found the answer. It's 25 meters.
The swimming pool must be at least 25 meters, so the diver can get good help of kicking from a wall, only once every 25 meters.
Thanks wikipedia.

What an amazing woman
Very amazing!! 4 minute
Nice 💖
she can hold her breath for so long!
How on earth does one hold their breath for that freakin long?
Part training and the other “luck” in that you’ve trained yourself heart to sloooooow down to where it’s as though time has almost stopped.
An amazing feeling that I’ve only experienced once in my life. I tried to duplicate it the next day and thereafter in every swimming environment. Never happened again. I’ll always be grateful to have had that experience. I went a mere 150 meters in one amazing breath.
