I know so many Calvinist who are puffed up with knowledge. Excluding those ‘who can’t get it’. I thank God that he is literal and speaks plainly. Thank you for the straight way you speak and teach.

Wonderful teaching Brother! There are few things I miss about Facebook, but your posts are one of them. Pray all is well there in Ireland, have been continuing to pray for you and God's work in and through you!

I agree we shouldn't hyper-spiritualize the Word of God. But we can't be totally rigid and literal with scripture. A day is like 1000 years and 1000 years is like a day. Jesus said "My words to you are Spirit, and they are truth". Jesus also said "My word is sharper than any double edged sword". Since my conversion I've had uncountable revelations in my studies. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit I know that I am being led into truth

Augustine was already corrupted in Gnosticism as he was involved in Manicheanism and then did further studies in Neoplatonism and the Stoics. A great book to read on the influence of Gnosticism in Augustinian teachings is ‘The Foundation of Augustinian Calvinism’ by Kenneth Wilson
Augustine was already into spiritualising before he read Origen’s writings, Augustine transgressed back to his old beliefs after debating with a British monk Pelegus who challenged him on baby baptism and Freewill. Augustine’s writings and teachings changed dramatically after that time and was attacking many Christian groups who opposed his views. Very much the start of a militant Roman Catholic Church and a persecution of Orthodox Christians and suppression of Early Apostolic teachings.

Exactly, this is part of the reason I’m not a Calvinist or believe anything from it besides it being unscriptural. People don’t know this and unfortunately it’s infiltrated even into non denominational churches

Pastor, I understand exactly what you mean. I thought the amillenium teaching was nonsense and laughable, and then found they have very deep and strange arguments which they try to prove it by. Very disturbing. However it is completely wrong. Thanks for your message. Christians these days don't know the scriptures well. We need to seriously study and stay awake and be taught by the Holy Spirit.

Reading the writings of Ante-Nicene Fathers of the first 300 years before Augustine, their eschatological view was Premillennial and Posttrib. They understood that the antichrist will persecute the Church at the mid point of the 7 year covenant, then Christ will return and resurrect the faithful to reign with Christ in Jerusalem for a thousand years.

I have some questions and you seem well learned, do you have a timeline of revelation written out? I’m having a hard time with timing. Thanks! I’m open to emailing 🙂

@@ruggedlifejewelry Hi thanks for asking, I have a video series on TH-cam that goes through the differences between the first 300 of the Apostolic Christians compared to the destructive path of Augustinian teachings from 400AD on wards.
You can find my videos on the TH-cam search Russell Jones Apostolic Millennium Week vs Augustinian eschatologys.
All my videos are based on the whole council of God’s Word, used in its correct context and based on historical documented evidences past and present. My first video will give you a time line of Augustinian Gnosticism and when their eschatological views came out.
I hope this will put things into prospective of historical and the accuracy of God’s Word in prophecy.

Keith Malcomson is so correct about the early Catholic teaching. Just read the introduction to the Book of Revelation in my St. Jude Bible (copyright 1970) that I studied in a college course a long time ago. Came to believe just from reading this book. But listen to just one line of the introduction written by men to discredit this book and discourage Catholics from reading it.
"Like the Book of Daniel and other apocalypses, it is a book of resistance literature to meet a crisis."
What? Who wrote this utter crap?
Funny that this book, inspired by God and His Holy Spirit, is just another book of literature like Charles Dickens or some guy? Whoa!
The book then, according to these men that wrote this introduction, is a lie a fiction. It is fiction wrapped up in symbolism not to be understood. This God inspired book is a lie then? The book isn't what it says it is in the first two verses:
"This is the revelation that God gave to Jesus Christ, that he might show his servants what must happen very soon. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who in reporting, all he saw bears witness to the Word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ."
That doesn't sound like a lie to me. Sounds like God is very serious about what John is writing in this book.
At the end of the book is a very stern warning to anyone that would add words or take away words from this book. Sounds like God meant business.
I have to add that I think the Catholic Church has caused hundreds of millions of Catholics over the centuries to not read the Book of Revelation, as if it didn't exist or didn't matter. Shame!

Where is the literal gap of 2000+ years between the legs & toes? There is none because it’s already happened.

Scripture they claim was fulfilled has definitely not been fulfilled. I was taught it at my Christian college also but it isn’t correct. The world events are aligning with revelation and Daniel now and we must be prepared

As these things, then, are in the future-and as the ten toes of the image are equivalent to democracies, and the ten horns of the fourth beast are distributed over ten kingdoms-let us look at the subject a little more closely. . . . The golden head of the image and the lioness denoted the Babylonians. The shoulders and arms of silver, and the bear, represented the Medes and Persians. The belly and thighs of brass, and the leopard, signified the Greeks, who held the sovereignty from Alexander’s time. The legs of iron, and the dreadful and terrible beast, represented the Romans, who presently hold the sovereignty. The toes of the feet that were part clay and part iron, and the ten horns, were emblems of the kingdoms that are yet to rise. The other little horn that grows up among them meant the Antichrist in their midst. The stone that smites the earth and brings judgment upon the world was Christ. Hippolytus (c. 200, W), 5.209, 210.
