I began my flight training on a C150,C152,C172, I did about 25 hrs then I transitioned into my Mooney M20G, Love the Mooney, easier to flight in my opinion, less drag, and so so smooth.

This is the plane I plan on buying in the next year. I’m finding nice upgraded M20’s from $80-$150K

What did I just hear you say the electric gear was an upgrade You must not know about GA, The manual gear was the sh*t and still is. Most People want manual gear which is less to worry about and much cheaper to maintain. If you were buying an older model Mooney today and planed on having it for a long time, you would go with manual gear which is true in most cases.

So the m20e wasn’t produced as a short body?

It was produced as a short body only. The F model a midsize body was its successor although it was produced like the C into the 70’s.

Ya, that is not a stall The horn comes on before the stall you need to wait for the break or the start of the break then recover or you are not gaining exp. The reason why people stall their planes and die is because they do not practice the stall enough so they can not feel it when it happens unexpectedly. if my instructed is not making me stall the plane then that instructor is worthless for this part of the training,
