It seems as if the Anthony Richardson experiment may officially be ending in Indianapolis soon, as the young 2nd year QB has continually had godawful performances against good NFL defenses. His accuracy (or lack thereof) has been mind bogglingly bad, his ball placement has been atrocious, and his lack of touch on passes is rearing its ugly head. While Richardson could get most of the blame for his terrible play, the Colts front office must also be held accountable too. Throwing a young and super raw 2nd year QB into the fire and expecting him to play well was a mistake in the first place, and now the consequences are starting to show. Enjoy the video!

Look at his track record .
Coached Herbert as a rookie to offensive rookie of the year and a top ten NFL offense.
Made Jalen Hurts an MVP candidate on his way to the Superbowl and helped make him a 200M man.
Then he leaves and the Eagles and Hurts offense haven’t been the same since.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but something tells me that Anthony Richardson might be the Colts version of Akili Smith. What's even worse was that he wasn't even that good in Florida, having the same stormtrooper accuracy he has now. I mean, I just don't know what the fuck the Colts were thinking taking him off the bench in the first place. Obviously, Joe Flacco didn't play too well in relief of him, but it's pretty clear now that Anthony Richardson isn't the long-term answer to the Colts QB question. I'm sorry, but he just isn't.

Statistically it’s a terrible idea for QBs in regard to long term success.
Counting his redshirt year, tom brady spent 5 years in college. Peyton spent 4….same with brees, marino, Rothlisberger
Youd think theyd care more about developing in college to ensure they had a high rate of success in the nfl. Realistically, starting qbs only get 2-3 years to prove theyre the guy…so one would think theyd want as much time as possible on college to make sure theyre ready for their shot (and often their only shot)
      Buttttttt
When they get told by their agent that theyll get drafted 4th overall and secure a multi million dollar contract that will secure their families future immediately…i can see whyd theyd take that instead of staying for a few more years.

Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, Eagles, Lions,Packers, Rams and Buccaneers all have qb's making $33 million to $55 million and they are all playoff teams. The problem is he was never taught the basic fundamentals of the position. Footwork, throwing motion, throwing on-time, reading a defense, throwing receivers open,...... the list goes on. A crazy athlete can get away with sloppy fundamentals at the lower levels where the opponents have a mixture of talent level. When you get to the league though everyone is an all American, "run to the Buick I'll hit you" doesn't work anymore. It's to late for him to learn the position, that should have started back in high school. He's light-years behind Mahomes, Allen, Baker, Stafford,.... hell even Daniel Jones is better than Richardson.

Agree he Is DISCUSTING How in the world do the scouts miss the fact that all he can do is be big and throw hard there is so much more to QB position...he will never be able to layer the ball with touch and definately never be able to do that with anticipation and accuracy there is NO WAY.

As a panthers fan y’all want us to be patient with Bryce who’s had more starts in college and NFL who’s just as bad no arm talent can’t read or see the field than Anthony Richardson but y’all say the experiment is over with Richardson 😂😂

  • @thenextchallenger4341
    @thenextchallenger4341 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

hear me out. I've said it before and ill say it again. The only reason they took a shot on him was because of arch manning coming into the league at the end of Richardson's rookie contract. It makes them look calculated. maybe not smart but methodical at least. Give this guy who looks like a freak a chance to be good and then when he isn't. Tank so hard you can go out and get the next manning prodigy

I personally think he’s a bust, but you still have to give him more time. Hes a developmental QB, and we all knew that. But the majority of fans called Josh Allen a bust until his 3rd season. Also, blaming Richardson for the WRs not being able to catch is kinda crazy. Every receiver spends more than enough time with their QB to understand and expect the speed/touch the QB puts on the ball. If they can’t handle a ball thrown by the guy they’re supposed to expect it from, that’s on the receivers. You also said you don’t just develop accuracy and ball placement, and you’re wrong about that as well. Like, way tf wrong. That’s what practice is for. Just like I have to practice with my rifles and other weapons. You aren’t just born with accuracy. Silly statement homie.

This is cap. Anthony got improved but it isn't his fault. Look what they got playing with no tight end, mix and match offensive line, and one relaible guy in receiver. They gotta make plays. Most young quarterbacks get a good wr early in their career. The biggest issues is the gm not giving him anythinh to work with. Stfu dude

Processing, reading coverage and ball placement are literally the things that take time to develop. Bo Nix played 61 games in college and AR played 13. Not fair to move on from him just yet.

Does any nfl team actually have the time it will take to develop AR to the point where we can finally determine if he's a good qb or not? He still looks years away from amounting to anything.

have you even watched his past few games? he has been playing better the past few weeks than he has the past 2 years. The drops are so horrible, this is his rookie season, he is under pressure all the time... more than 90 percent of the league. Im not a huge fan, i thnk we should go elsewhere... but what you are saying lets me know you havent watched him at all this year. he completes over 60 percent when not under pressure and like 35% when he is under pressure. he also doesnt throw the ball that hard... you should have me on your podcast sometime, it would be nice for your channel to have two different angles. i hear what your saying, but it just isnt all true.

Yes, let's keep losing for 10 years until he finally puts together 1 good season. Don't give up on him, but make it clear the free ride over. u wanna be qb 1, earn it. No more handing it to you. Go get another qb to compete for the job. And I don't know, maybe this time, hire a qb that's similar in style and not at the opposite end of the spectrum. Does no good to have 2 totally different style qbs l.
