So calling them idols would be an insult. BoA is also SM Entertainment's creative director and sort of godmother to upcoming trainees. She really is a huge inspiration to other female K-Pop artists. Because they're just not many in her position. With the experience, reputation & position to back it up. So if being older is somehow a negative. Then there's a whole lot of K-Idols that would like to be in her position. It's kind of a problem for other artists really though. Because most just don't last long enough to make an impact.
