Dude I have this exact same problem with my golf swing where I slide my pelvis forward... Brodie i know this is an old video but if you have anymore drills to fix this problem I would love to have them. I have been trying to fix this problem in my golf swing for a long time and I think it is starting to take a toll on my back and I already have bad knees from basketball. I am going to work on these drills tomorrow.

I've got to admit that I'm envious of Brodie's golf situation. While I wouldn't mind his clubhead speed, it's the coaching! How many coaches deal with the "why"? Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. As Cameron was basically saying, if you know why you need to hit the ball a certain way, you play the game. If you have awesome skills but don't know why, you're just hitting balls and the game is playing you. Great lesson!

This is really good information, not just for Brodie, but also any player wanting to improve their game. Not going to lie here, but Brodie kind of annoyed me a lot in the past because he is loud, but watching him here gives me a lot more respect for him as an athlete. He really listens and tries to improve with no ego. Being humble really allows you to help your game, not just golf.

I’m a all around athlete. Played every sport, but mainly baseball so my ability is there. I hit the ball very hard and very far, but i never know exactly where I’m hitting it, because all of my shoots are thin as well.. thanks Brody keep up the good work

There's a constant sense that I'm way down on power and it's been frustrating the hell out of me. I'll get busy on some of these drills to complement what my pro and I are working on. I honestly hate playing golf. My dad is a huge golfer and tries to get me to play it but I am just way more of a Frisbee guy. You are a great person Brodie and I will try my best to keep watching your golf videos not because of golf but because you are an amazing person!

I'll relate it to quarterback play since that's what's in your profile picture. Form would be having the perfect throwing motion, arm strength, accuracy. Skill would be being able to translate that into the game. You could have a perfect bullet pass, but that wont help you on a throw that requires touch.

If you’re hitting out of a nice lie in the rough (or in my case a pretty fluffy/spongey fairway), do you still want to compress (elevator drill) or would it be better to try and “pick” the ball?
