Love the video! I like the title "Downtown" matched where you actually drove - some videos say Downtown Atlanta and has as much Midtown Atlanta as Downtown. But I kept saying/hoping when crossed over them - Go down Marietta Street, Edgewood Avenue. Those East/West streets are central to Atlanta origins - and Auburn Avenue.
I was actually disappointed that every time he was about to go into Midtown he’d do an about face and head back into Downtown. Lol. Midtown is much more interesting in my opinion. But don’t leave Atlantic Station out.
Thanks for your travel video of Atlanta. I'm Australian and I used to live in 'The States. I still visit and have travelled through Atlanta. More please..

Isn't using just the city limits population very misleading ? Metro population data provide a much better idea of any region, and its influence. Metro Atlanta has a population of over 6.2 million, and is the 8th largest metro area in the US.
Yep. It’s the same as with Miami. With only 439,000 it’s only the 44th largest in the U.S. and second place in Florida to Jacksonville. But we all know that city feels a lot bigger and is more important than Jacksonville. Going by those city statistics alone no one would ever guess Miami has the 3rd largest skyline in America. Just more proof that metro population is more important than city in most cases.
@@gacaptainit is bigger and it’s city area is tiny, 33sq miles as opposed to Jacksonvilles 900sq mile annexed city area. If Miami annexed 900sq miles it would easily dwarf Jacksonville by multiple millions.

Atlanta is attempting to add more density to it's downtown and really build it up. Check back in 5-10 years. Right now, if not for Georgia State students walking to and from classes, the most people in downtown Atlanta are the homeless.
