It's a damn shame how real talent like them and others in the 80s and 90s get dropped like a hot potato, like they were nothing. But these non-talented, non-singing, auto-tune vocalist, we have now seem to stay forever and get richer.
+LifeIsNotorious Yep, business is business. You see some new trend happening and the big wigs want to capitalize immediately. It doesn't matter if the "has beens" get ignored while they are still in their prime. True love and appreciation in show business is a rareity.
Can't argue with that at all. When it's your time, it is. And when it's over, well.....hey, with You Tube anybody could probably have a hot new career coming out the shower and brushing their teeth in front of the world.

***** So many chips would have to fall right... Music has moved so far in the last 20 years it's hard to see where they fit in but after watching this interview a part of me just wants to believe.

Deerbra I agree "Music has moved so far..." as in so far low which low is the newer high and Soul 4 Real is in the high category which is...you get it...the newer low. Past talent isn't recognized (and is overlooked today) and today's music with all of the sampling, and originality is lacking, is what cobsumers (I was about to correct my mistake and replace the "b" with an "n" and make it consumers...but I'll leave it as is) support.

Those brothers look a little rough now. You can defiantly tell they've been through life. Many blessings to them in their future endeavors. I'm reading some of the comments where everyone is like "they need to comeback" and "I'd buy their new music". I see those comments on a lot of the 90s R&B artists videos on TH-cam, and if you go you iTunes, most of them have new music out and no one supports it!!!

These brothers have there own style of dancing and they all look good and have a massive blend of voices.
Didn't know they were pushed out of the industry like that. Messed up that the industry just dropped them, they were a good group. Hope things work out with their career, especially considering dude got 7 kids with 5 baby mamas.
Well after the second child he should had wrap up.
court mars He should've been wrapped up before the first if he didn't want kids, but people make bad choice and it sounds like he was caught up living a wild life. He also said he went to prison. Hopefully they can get their career back on track and maybe that will help him get it together.

The industry is beyond foul and filthy!! They don't care about anything but whether or not the artist or group is making "them" huge paper! If not it it is just like he said done, on to the next!! Agents, promoters, A and R people and record labels punk and pimp artists, always have, always will especially black artists! It's sickening but there is light at the end of the nightmare and that is, most major record labels will be extinct within the next 7 to 10 years. Because of social media, artists no longer need record labels and can finally tell them to take a hike!!
Soul IV Real... one of my favorite groups of all time... Everytime I found a new girlfriend I'd play "Every little thing I do" about 20 times, still do... Congrats on regrouping!

Sounds like they upped their game with the acapella. They weren't strong with their harmonies back in the day in my opinion. They were more like 4 lead singers rather than a group. Now they sound tighter. Diggin it.
