It's not just the congratulatory things, but I forget If it was the Coco situation or HoloCN issue (it was around 3-4 years ago), Yagoo took a paycut and an apologetic statement was made about it. In Japan CEOs take paycuts when they acknowledge they either made a mistake or during bad times.
Yagoo, HL, and by extension Cover are beloved because when they fck up they apologize and try their best to fix those issues so they don't happen again. I just hope Cover is reviewing and ensuring they give their talents the proper Employee Compliance training so another unfortunate situation like Mel's doesn't happen again to prevent NDA terminations.
I’ve never met the man in person but judging from all the videos of him showing up at that Hololive gathering in AX2023, he seems like a really down to earth person despite his CEO status.

I've been following both companies, and I found that Niji seems much more averse to doing events and other creative avenues, that's why livers like Pomu and Selen always got the short end of the stick, because they were usually the ones who were pushing for more creative contents.
Niji just seem to wants talent to do some generic stuffs (stable income flow) while management does nothing (saving on cost), and they can just keep milking it til dry and left if it's no longer profitable. Tazumi himself stated that he'd left when there's no more profit.
Pekora has worked her ass of this year. She's done SO MANY streams and collabs! Congrats on your hard work paying off Usada!

The person herself said she faced harassment from inside and then the company confirmed and added to the fire by mentioning it was from fellow liver in their own termination notice. In the same notice as well, they confessed to contacting her and failing then contacting her emergency contact when she was hospitalised, multiple times. idk about you but to me that sounds like a confession by an employer harassing their person who is in medical attention which is something you know, borderline criminal because they should know the reason she was hospitalised ie an attempt at her life and any sane doctor will limit contact with the source of her taking the attempt so like, yea they confessed to harrassing her pretty much.
Then, they proceeded to lock her out of her twitter, making every fans and friends worried about her without any statement at all, without any explanation or any well wishes for their employee and without asking for patience from the fans. Total quiet. Also this confession of locking her out of Twitter made fans to speculate that the tweets made during a particular date is not from Selen but the management, adding to the distrust between fans and management.
After that, they finally decided to fire her much to the shock of herself and fans. The reason for termination is not just about the tweet of incitement but also allegedly a misinformation tweet (management privated the cover vs we privated the cover), didnt obtain copyright (song copyright were acquired for a year already, it's probably Nijisanji themselves that changed their ruling on their own copyrighted material that fucked the song bcs there has been clip abt how Niji changed their rules many times and in the last minute making it hard for the livers to organise projects), didnt pay the artists (artists refuted and mentioned paid by her own account and not Nijisanji themselves, another artist mentioned Nijisanji fucking up NDA for them to sign), and also getting bullied and attempted her own life. The notice shouts incompetence from Nijisanji aloud and afar.
Literal management and pr disaster if you ask me.

This is why it's important for leaders aspiring for C-suite positions to come from the bottom because they know how hard it is from the level of a normal employee. Yagoo started Hololive from the ground up so he's able to see the various issues the agency faced before it became the behemoth we know today. Being in a privileged position (like a certain CEO looking like a trust fund kid) won't really give you that perspective hence why that certain company is burning down.
He's not called Best Girl for no reason. The fact that he openly celebrates and praises his talents for their hard-earned achievements is only one example of many as to why he is respected by so many people. The man is an absolute gift and a shining beacon for the Vtuber community. Tazumi could never.
