Believing that the l is the doer is the most difficult of delusions to destroy when practicing one’s spiritual sadhana. The reason my teacher says is obvious really: we have taken ourselves to be the actor, the thinker, the one that feels, the perceiver etc etc for so long, plus the Self is so close to matter/maya although it is always eternally free from maya/matter so there’s a gap that simply needs to be understood. Once we understand we are above the line of inert reflective matter we are free. Freedom from every form of friction and tension. Rama the dharma warrior who always does the right thing whether or not he likes or doesn’t like the action or outcome is a prime example of a karma yogi who is also Self realised and he is holding a bow in the puranic iconography and this bow is not strung. This is a beautiful example of a Self realised human being who lives completely without tension or stress.

Sir please forgive me if this question seems egoisitic (which it most probably is), but is the remorse that Pundalikrao Ji suffered Baba's will too? In that case, if Baba is the sole doer and inspirer, do we even have the will to surrender to him? As Gautam Ji gave the example of a person holding a gun - does that person really have a choice to be careful not to pull the trigger? Thank you!

In Sripada SriVallabha charitamrutam the author shankar bhatt has written many things related to Sai Baba with the grace of Sripad Srivallabha 🙏🏻. In this the secret behind the coconut is written...why it was not meant to reach baba etc. The chritamrutam was opened in the year 1999 though written in around year 1350. If possible please read it 🙏
I’m a bit confused. First baba points out this devotees mistake and says “is this the way you work?” And then says that it was me who did everything. If the devotee was unaware and ate the coconut, was it not destined to be this way? Why even make the poor guy guilty of something he had no control over? Is awareness or unawareness something that we have control over at all times? These questions come out of my ignorance. No disrespect to baba or the teachings. 🙏🏼
