sprint race was like a Knoxville saturday night with the outlaws in town. Same result.
Everyone complaining about the dust and I think this is about as smooth and competitive the Dirt Track at Charlotte has ever looked.
The size and configuration (large, open, and long turns) is why they prepare the track this way - same with Eldora. There is a reason why places like Knoxville and Williams Grove can run tacky without rubbering down, namely its composition - black gumbo clay, or in the case of Williams Grove that is is narrow and races like two drag strips with sweeping turns.
Yes, I realize that lots of racing is done on the track at the World Finals, but if you think adding water will help (without completely re-working the track) then you'll be watching a follow-the-leader NASCAR race by the time the A-Feature(s) takes the track.
Can't watch a race you can't see.
i was setting under the melly yellow sign
Looks like upstate NY with all that dust
And Michigan tracks
For all the people complaining about the dust... Visit lernerville after a week of no rain
I'm Glad I didn't go... I got dust in my eyes watching the video....
Man what a dust bowl
i know my eyes hurt from it
Maroon 18 in second, no blue 18 in second, no maroon. ..
cool looking car!
don't make water east of the Mississippi.
Drought out west... they were only allowed 1 truck load of water for the whole event
When Roger Slack was at Charlotte it wasn't near as dusty, this is an awful dusty mess
This is what Tony Stewart and Humpy Wheeler consider a good Dirt track, Well Im done with em. No reason whatsoever for the dustbowls. Too many good tracks to visit.
Foggy
