This is a prediction video so they come from me and I decide the results! This was made in 2023 so my predictions will most likely change in the coming years!

Brazil will struggle in 2026, mostly due to the lack of a strong midfield compared to other contenders. Offensively they’re stacked as always, but otherwise they’re like the old Argentina where they excel up front, but lack prowess in the middle and in the back.
Argentina currently and going into 2026, without Messi and Di Maria, look to be the more balanced team and a better team overall due to coaching.
If they meet in Copa América 2024 (extremely likely) or 2026, a Messi-less Argentina that plays a 4-4-2 with battle hardened midfielders that have already won a World Cup, will probably still dominate Brazil.
France are already looking scary for 2026. The transition from Lloris in goal to Maignan looks set, a battle-hardened core from 2022 with fresh blood and a couple of players that barely played or were not called up in 2022, even a few that played in 2018 but can still play one more Cup. I created a hypothetical Starting XI for 2026, and found the average age to be about 27.5. That’s prime among prime. Let’s not forget Mbappe will probably be at his peak.
England will retain pretty much the same core from 2022. I’d probably play Gallagher in midfield, and get rid of Maguire. Otherwise, it’s a problem of coaching and mentality for England more than anything else.
It would be interesting to see how Germany, Spain and Italy manage to recover.
I don’t have high expectations for Portugal coached by Roberto Martinez.
Croatia are always interesting. I think Dion Drena Beljo has the *potential* to grow into a striker like Mario Mandzukic. Up front, I can see the likes of Brekalo playing a greater role. Kramaric, Rebic (if he gets called up), and maybe Perisic can all play one more Cup. Pasalic seems to be frequently used up front despite “technically” being a midfielder.
Midfield there’s still Kovacic and Brozovic along with Lovro Majer, though Kovacic and Brozovic will both be in their 30s.
Back like I can see the addition of Josip Stanisic, Gvardiol of course, and Sosa / Juranovic.
Livakovic remains in goal.
Netherlands are kind of a wild card for me. I see QFs / maybe SFs for them, but once again this isn’t the Netherlands of Robben / Van Persie / Sneijder. 4-3-3 isn’t the same.
France will win that's it. This 2022 World Cup was played to give Messi the world cup. Now since these guys will retire real football will start

I'll have pretty good contenders to win.
Spain will look SCARY in 2026. Pedri, Gavi, Rodri, Yamal, Torres, etc. But i think they are just a bit too young and inexperienced. I still think they will go far in the cup tho. Maybe semi-finals?
Argentina don't look like they have the same firepower anymore. Sure Latauro, Garnacho, and Alvarez are all amazing attackers and have loads of potential, Its just that I think they may struggle a lot in the back. Yes, Martinez is a great goalkeeper, but he's gonna be rusty by 2026. The only positive they have in the back for me is Lisandro. They could win, i just dont see it happening.
England have the BEST squad on paper, Bellingham, Kane, Saka, Foden, and so on, but it's their management thats the problem, Southgate is NOT going to lead this team to a world cup. It may sound harsh, but it's true. I think they could win the cup, they just need a coach that could change the dynamic of the team.
France are the other favorite, but i just think they might fall short again. Mbappe, Maignan, Dembele, Camavinga, etc. I just do not think the team is ready to win again. Yes, they could prove me wrong easily, but I don't think they'll have that same connection as 2018, it's more of a team of indiviuals.
Brazil are flawed right now, but could have a very great run, I once again dont see them winning it this time, but I think theyll go very far. Vini, Endrick, Rodrygo, Marquinihos, Ederson, Martinelli, etc. I just do not think they'll have the same passion as some of the other teams. The fans, of course! The players, not as much.
A lot of other teams are just not in form or i do not see them winning, like Germany, Italy, Croatia, Belgium, etc. But there are two teams i could see winning their FIRST World Cup.
Netherlands: The Netherlands are long overdue a World Cup, and I think they could COOK in the tournament. Frenkie De Jong, Van Dijk, Gakpo, Frimpong, Simmons, de Ligt, Depay, and so much more quality players that play LIKE A TEAM. Even if they don't win it, they will make it far.
Portugal: Im not even a Ronaldo fan, I dont think he'll even be PICKED for 2026, but i have a sneaky feeling that Portugal could win the entire thing. Felix, Leao, Bernando Silva, Jota, Palhinha Cancelo, Costa, and etc. They are amazing in every position, (Unlike the Dutch who r lacking in Goalkeepers) so i have a feeling theyll win the cup.
