    Doesn't ASCE 7-10 Section 27.4.6 allows just to consider Case 1 and 3 for buildings with flexible diaphragm. Is the structure as shown act as a flexible diaphragm.

    IMHO RISA is the current leader in practical structural engineering software. Expansion of the program in the past 5 years has surpassed visual analysis. IES has tried to keep up, but their program is still prone to locking up and crashing. The customer support at RISA is excellent and FAST, compares to the terrible support for RAM and Robot. I am a production PE. I have no personal interest in RISA. I have all major analysis packages at my office and I have to use them all due to our teaming arrangements. RISA is the only one that I have found to be trouble free and consistently profitable.
