Think I counted 1000 screws 😆 Those plastic clips are concerning if people are going to be taking them apart multiple times. On my old star wars toys clips like that were the first thing break. Slow and steady wins the tire change game every time. Exselent video thanks for showing the steps and enjoy the 244 experience!
Yea that would have been a thing I should have checked , would be interesting to go back on the footage and cound the total screws. lol 1000 sounds like a good number haha. Was fun and hope it helps others! Thanks for watching Spartacus!!!
Whew! That was a TASK! Did you guys end up insulating the motor wires again? Is the damage going to continue? Looked like the motor wires already had a little bit of damage on the shielding in this video. I wouldn't let that sit un-addressed for very long. Don't want anyone to get hurt! Thanks for sharing. Great video!
Yea it was that is for sure! Luckily, FrenchUsa found a work around that made things easier. There are just tons of different sized screws littered throughout the wheel and the build quality is actually very questionable. We look at metal and be like, "ooo ahhh" ITS metal reinforced but that metal looks like it can crack easily. The plastic breaks easily , especially the clips surrounding the panels and surrounding areas. Need to be careful taking this one apart. Yes we insulated the motor wire, wasnt so bad. Thanks for watching BIGboiFASTboi!
Update on the Shinko. Some rubbing on the tire still. Hoping it will go away with more mileage. Shaved again for the 3rd time. Not going to shave anymore. General impressions is really good because I dont feel that pulling to the right or left anymore like i did with the stock knobby. Tire is very nimble and very predictable . Still makes noise on the pavement but it is about 50 percent quieter. Handles trails about the same , if not a little bit less than the stock knobby. Tire feels like it wants to stay upright more so past 20mph. Cornering is better and requires less body input. Tire is a lot stiffer and not as cushiony as the knobby. All in all, so far, the Shinko 244 is a decent upgrade over the stock knobby. Now im going to research shocks and see which one will be good fit for the Hero. Thanks for watching guys!
I like French guy , wonderful accent. I give him a 10 out of 10, and Cyberv0lt i give you 10/10 for filming. Thanks guys. I hope i never have to do this to my Hero when it comes from eWheels!
Thats awesome man, yea FrenchUSA good guy and was very gracious with his time and energy to do this teardown. Enjoy your Hero when you get it man and hopefully you never need to take it a part!
Sorry, I mist the video Monday. But you must understand. On Juli 11th, I received my new wheel. The Extreme Bull X-Max High Torque. Great job on swapping the tire on the Hero. I think on the S22 it will be more difficult. Apparently with the X-Max the motor cable also doesn't need to be disconnected for swapping the tire. The cable is tucked away in front in the frame.
Hi, great video, I may have asked this earlier on FB, but is it absolutely necessary to take the top panel off to be able to remove the right side shell panel?
@@mikeintampa250 I saw a comment on my phone from you, and i cant find it now for some reason, it had to do with litech battery. Im not sure what happened with FrenchUSA Litech issue. Feel free to send him a comment on his channel, he can better answer this than i can :)
It's a big operation for this tyre change. I'm a little but disappointed when i see all the job i will have to do. In my case, i have choosed the Michelin City Pro
I m curious how that tire will behave with the Hero. I like the Pilot Street 2 on sherman, Im so curious how that tire in combination with my skill level will behave on the Hero., but i have no desire to take this apart again (with or without help). I wish you best of Luck on the tire change. I hear MCP tire is really good! Please be careful of the clips and plastic screw holes, they break easily!

I am deciding between the Hero and the Master; tire change defiantly looked easier on the Master!
muuuuuuchhh easier

Hi Mike , i did not see a comment or might have missed it, yes you have to take top panel off.
@@WILSONsHobbies thanks I was hoping not but I'm glad I know before I get involved in it.

There is a lot to changing the wheel on the hero, might not even try it myself
It sure is, it was a great learning activity. I don't think I would try it myself either lol
