Breathless. 11 years ago, I was literally astonished. And such a long time didn’t change that feeling, it remained there deep in my soul, as fixed to my dna. Just waiting for this moment, the right one. No reason, no concrete connection, but it spread out again, as it was in the beginning
when i hear this i recall memories from my early childhood, returning home from school hugging my mother, having that lucid vision, feeling connection with life, before i capsulated my self in this current.
"To her fair works did Nature link The human soul through me ran; And much it grieved my heart to think What man has made of man." -William Wordsworth, 1798
Put on some good headphones and put it to .75x the speed. A little distortion (bring it into a dj program if you can, way better) - but if you can get into it, the song takes on a new form.
When I hear this song...I imagine two lovers waking up, going for a run in the early morning hours...chasing each other through the streets...ending with a horrible accident where one of them gets hit by a car (last few minutes of the song)....and they rise up into the sky and see the entire city below them as a disembodied spirit...experiencing both extreme love and the utter devastation of being alone...in the same day....
@@ChaosTyrant Agreed. I do not "have" to like it. I don't. That's on me. And I said so. So what. Agree or not. What the fuck does it matter. I won't listen to it, that's for sure. Others might agree, or might not. Who cares. I personally wish he'd make more of the music he made early on. He may not care and might not ever make that kind of music again. Doesn't stop me from stating my views. The current repetitive shit is just that... imo
@@PewPewReload If you like ambient chillwave have you tried Aes Dana. Two albums of near perfection Perimeters, Pollen. Also Drum Therapy and Blue Book by Tor are really sweet. Then there's Roly Porter's unmitigated crushing masterpiece 'Third Law'. You can keep your Tim Hecker's and Jon Hopkinses when I have the above . The second are bloody novices put along side the first.

Beautiful , heavy , dense and compressed. Like the sun ☉
TheWertywertywerty the sounds , they sound compressed.. yet full I'm a music producer so I'm probably being technical and analytical aha
