2023!.......Starting the new year with your video. If I weren't ancient, ( 69),...this looks like a real "rush". In 1970, nobody was doing this. We had very primitive skateboards, back then. Hard wheels, short boards, but I was young, back then. And me and my mates would street luge in suburban, Cleveland, Ohio. We had no idea this would become a real thing to do. Our runs were short,....streets only several hundred feet long. We didn't know how to control our boards, we used hand held wood blocks, because those hard nylon ones hadn't been invented, yet. Very cool,....
Just posted another mountain pass. I have video of three more. Built a new Luge, waiting for the snow to go away! Big things are happening this summer! Thanks for your posts!
Haha have any trouble merging onto I-70? Cool vid, ballsy run. Too bad about the rumble strip down the middle of the road. Regardless, interesting to see that road from such a low angle.
Used to be into this when i was younger, i live in the plains of canada pretty much. I lacked the vision, and the proper trucks (speed wobble). Did have a decent design luge though, my uncle welded me one out of steel, bit heavy though. What is a good pair of lucks for a street luge? i'd like to get a pair and then build around that. The trucks are the focus point i guess!
We tend to pass a lot of bikes since they ride EVERYWHERE in colorado. I made all these with a Samsung SC-X205L. You have to change the fourcc code to DIVX for editing. I am getting an Archos Gen 4. Helmet Cam next.
That was so awesome I could just run to Colorado and plan a vacation just coasting down streets-Thank you very much-ur awesome!
