In the UK, we recycle all the time, , at our homes we have multiple bins, , we have a bin for general waste, plastic and cardboard, a one for glass, and a bin for garden waste. one week, your general waste is collected and the second week recycle is collected, we also have dotted around, free waste and recycle centers, where you can get rid of old houshold items, which goes into skips, to be recycled, If you get something wrong in your household bin, lets say a glass bottle in the cardboard bin, you get sticker on the bin, and the bin will not be emptied. I made the mistake a couple weeks ago, put the ash in the cradbord bin from my BBQ, it was not emtied, i had to clear the ash

For the diesel case it also depends on how vig of a car you want. Regular European size cars mostly use gasoline (including small BMW) . The bigger ones like most Americans want drive diesel
We have more Diesel´s here in Europe, but the majority is still gasoline. The advantage of Diesels is they are more economic, get a better mileage, are in general more reliable (no ignition, no sparks) and have a significant more torque (at least the turbo-diesels).

Working in restaurants, cafes, supermarket restaurants, caterings, hostels etc. you get your meal mostly from and IN this and without having to pay for it, so time to eat is no problem bc. you don`t have to go outside and you take your meal by yourself or get it from the kitchen or from the buffet!
For cars like regular in Europe we can have them take diesel, gasoline sometimes CNG or LPG. First two are obvious but for CNG it can run just on CNG or as an additional tank the same for LPG mostly gasoline + LPG but you can install it to diesel but it's not very economically wise also LPG is used as a fuel for forklifts. I will exclude cars that run on mostly ethanol. For octane we have main three types 95.98 and on some 100 octane but it's calculated differently than in US so it's almost the same. Important note in US diesel is Green handle in Europe mostly black handle

Mein VW Passat 1.9 TDI / Diesel, has 890k Km / 553k miles. Diesel is cheaper and also uses less, 47 mpg. Diesels also have more torque
